The Modern Balti Barry — Restaurant in Wales

My husband always mentioned this Indian to me as he only lived down the road when he was younger and loved there food and found out tonight that they do home delivery so of course we had to order from here as he's rave about this place so much since I've been with him and have never had a meal from here .We had a emperor meal for 2 person and it was the best meal I've have had for a while from an Indian, poppadom were fresh,Tikka naan bread was so fresh and the onion bhaji was very tasty,the curry's were amazing... there was enough there for 4 people if you like normal portions. definitely recommend and can't wait to order again...

Sunday evening tea time, and was despatched to get a curry. Hadn't been to the Modern for a good few years, so to have the service, cost and amazing food meet all our expectations was great, and fast too. They also chucked in a couple of extra poppadoms, which is always a winner in my book. 5 star service, 5 star food. Only left 4 star on the atmosphere, as obviously it's only a takeaway and not a restaurant, so unless you take your own lights and sound system with you, the atmosphere...

Just had the worst Indian takeaway from modern balti. Every time I have ordered for the last 3 times it has been over 40mins late and cold. Having to warm it up in the microwave! The last time my order was wrong and they said they would send the missing item but driver was currently in rhoose. I just asked for a refund. Still waiting for it. This is the last time I will using Modern balti again. Goodbye from a loyal customer who has just had enough of...
