Had to pre-book on a Monday Night. Table was for seven pm. People who hadn't booked were being turned away. But this is just coming out of Covid so to be expected. By 8pm I estimate it half full. The greeter was a bit direct with the group behind me and later with others. Covid protection measures were very good . All meals come with a free salad. This was served to you ,you just told them what you wanted. Starters come from a range of small tapas. £4 each . They reccomended four for two people. So expensive. Quality was good. I had BBQ wings and calamari. The latter was well cooked and not tough. My main course was served with the wrong Chips but this was quickly rectified. An offer to keep the rest of the meal hot whilst waiting was accepted. The ribs were ok. Not exactly falling off the bone but nice. My one complaint was they had little sauce on them and were dry. See pics. I rectified this myself by fetching one of the freely available sauces. See pic. But it makes you wonder whether five pence of sauce and three seconds by the chef wouldn't have made it much better. See pic. The salt in the salt cellar was damp and would not flow. ( Hot tip add a free grains of rice it absorbs the moisture). The waitress was amiable and effective. Overall a reasonable experience. I will be back....

A busy restaurant. The building could be extended to make more tables available. When we arrived we asked for a table for 4 people and was given a estimated time of 45 minutes before a table would be available for our party. We then ordered drinks from the bar and sat down in the seating area situated to the left of the bar. We were given a pager to hold until our table would be available. Judging by the amount of pagers behind the desk the restaurant is very popular. After 40 odd minutes we were paged to go and be seated. We handed back the pager and was shown to our table. Once seated we were given a quick rundown of what was available and where the salad bar was etc... The waitress told us she would return to take our order. Once she returned after a short time, she took our order and left. When our food arrived it was very nice. We all had a very good meal and was certainly full afterwards. We could have had a three course meal if we wanted but on this occasion we only went with a main course. There are toilets inside. Men's toilets are to the left of the bar while the ladies and the disabled toilets are to the right of the salad bar. A very nice place and the staff are friendly...

got to be fair it was a pretty shocking experience we had. we had to grab a random server and asked where the set menu was to be told that it had been stopped when they brought the new menu out. waited for around 15-20 mins for our server to come over. no politeness at all 1st words were are you ready to order. we give the order and had to say can we have drinks as she started to walk off. they have ruined the menu, adding needless bits to some of their best burgers. prices have gone up, and portion sizes have gone down. the triple chicken option (old name) can't remember what they call it now was pitiful. I asked why the portion was so small to be told that's what it is now. not even 1/4 a chicken when you include all the meat. It looked like they used 1/4 chicken breast for the 2 bits or they were the smallest chicken breasts I've ever seen, and the smallest bit of rotisserie chicken I think I've ever seen. desert size reduced as well. taking away the popular evening set menu is making it harder for lower income households to go out and enjoy a meal. It's a really bad move from Harvester here. no longer value for money with the changes to price and...

When we arrived at the restaurant, more than an hour before closing, we were greeted not with a welcome, but with a cold reminder of when the kitchen would be shutting in an hour. This set the tone for what followed: an experience that felt more like an inconvenience to the staff than a valued visit. We were seated at a table that hadn’t been cleaned, with no cutlery and surrounded by other tables still covered in the remnants of previous diners. It was clear that the restaurant had experienced a busy period but it's unreasonable to expect guests to sit among the mess. The same dirty tables we saw when we arrived were still uncleared when we left. Service was slow and indifferent. It took roughly 20 minutes before anyone approached us to take our order, and even after that, our drinks never arrived at the table. After waiting another 15 minutes, I had to go to the bar myself, only to be handed two empty glasses, apparently forgotten altogether by our server. As for the food, I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking. Suffice to say, you’d be better off grabbing a Tesco meal deal from the discount shelf.
