Jamil Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Wales

Very disappointing. We made a booking couple of weeks in advance, put on a table right in the bottom corner, plenty of spare tables could have put us somewhere where we didn't feel like completely out of it. No communication by waiting staff, we had 3 different people come and ask us the same questions when we had already advised waiting on another person. We ordered drinks, soft drink was warm and flat, I asked just for water Instead. They bring a jug of water and a replacement pint of lemonade, this still warm, even ice would not have chilled this. I explained I asked just for the water Instead, the waiter seemed to just stare at me as if I was from a different planet at this stage, following another member of staff came to check on the lemonade, why is this so complicated? Unfortunately waiting staff had a certain body odur that was off-putting as it smelt like they had run a marathon before the shift, when serving food this is a No. Our meals arrived and the dishes were literally thrown on the table, no care at all and considering two of them were on sizzlers this is dangerous. Later they did exactly the same to a group of ladies, we were lucky they were not so lucky. This restaurant has potential but you really need to sort the customer service out as this was very poor. Having trained and worked in the industry myself and also been a judge for Indian restaurant awards you can very quickly identify what needs doing to improving, some training and this would be a great restaurant as the food was decent. As a group we spoke and not one would return also customers outside...

I wownt be ordering from here again. I ordered the first time , and i could taste lentils in the chicken curry, very strong taste , but i thought they use a recipe with lentils so not too bad. ordred again and this time chicken curry with chicken peices but i can 100% taste lamb in the sauce ( i stopped eating lamb years ago , and i can smell and taste it 🤢) chicken chat smelled horrible and stinked rotten . I threw away all the order. So now i can assume ( pretty sure) they mix left overs for take away orders. That's how lentils was in the curry sauce.and that's how lamb was in the chicken curry. Horrible 😞 i would never order from here ever again. Pay to eat a mixture of someone elses leftovers...

Regular customers and will not be returning sadly

I can't believe how much the standards have dropped why are you letting customers enter the Restaurant in work clothes and tracksuits ! Hygiene ?

We come here on banquet night and the food was awful and it's always pretty good not this time around we always take some home but not on this occasion we just wanted to leave and go elsewhere to be honest

Chips rock hard dry Bombay potatoes rice like it got cooked last night And the naan bread a smallest slice of keema meat I've ever seen

So disappointed it's turned out like this we've been coming...
