So much potential. Very disappointing. Before I begin to type I would like to firstly say I am not the type of person to ever write a negative review. I’ve been to this establishment many times and it is always a hit and miss, but my experience last night took the biscuit and made me write this. After a long journey in the car the first thing I did upon walking through the doors was go to the toilet. The girl behind the counter said “Hello” followed by “OHH YEAH IGNORE ME THEN” as it turns out she was talking to me. Had I have known I would have said hello back but I was given no time to even respond nor notice she was talking to me. She then proceeded to talk about it and laugh with the other member of staff at the front. (It’s worth mentioning that I ordered to the table before in this establishment to not receive my order after 30 mins I went up to the counter and they explained that they hadn’t started making my food yet. This was wrong as my friends had their food and ordered to the same table. Anyway I went back to my seat and I heard the same girl scream the number of my table. I said to her I ordered to the table and her response was “we don’t do table service” which was a lie as my friends had their meals brought to our table). When I went in the toilets they were stinking! This is no exaggeration there was urine all over the seat and floor with toilet paper everywhere and an unflushed toilet. Not the best impression. As I walked out of the toilet I noticed that someone had thrown up in the sink (pictured below). Considering the staff being sat around talking and laughing you would think that they would have cleaned the toilets and sink but they had not. The food came out in record time and it was delicious. I really enjoyed it and cannot fault the meal or the time it took to get to me. What did bother me however was the table was not wiped prior to us sitting there. Neither was the table next to us, the table next to that and so on there was also rubbish on the floor. (Also pictured below). Whilst coming to the end of our meals the staff began closing the area around us making us feel as if we had to leave promptly so upon finishing our meals we did. I will say I didn’t put my tray in the bin because it was overflowing and because I was very dissatisfied with the service which in hindsight I maybe should have left it on top of the bin. But that’s it, my experience last night in KFC Pembroke Dock. It’s a shame as with the right staff, motivation, uniform and a bit of pride would really change the reputation of this place. Will I continue to come yes absolutely it’s convenient and tasty food but the staff are just disrespectful and lazy. Which is crazy as their competition McDonald’s is only across the road where the staff are great. (There are some absolutely lovely people working in KFC I’m just speaking of a select few). I would like to see the company turn this place around and fill the potential it has. Considering the place was dead at the time of my visit there’s no excuse for the state of the place. That is all, just disappointing.

I visited KFC Pembroke Dock - London Road on July 31, 2025, at 9:25 PM, and it was a nightmare that left my son seriously ill. We were served raw chicken wings, pink inside with bloody juices, which I photographed as proof. By 6:00 AM the next morning, my son was throwing up violently, and by 8:00 AM, he had severe diarrhoea. These symptoms haven’t stopped and are clearly from the undercooked food. The restaurant was a mess, with overflowing bins, dirty tables, and a chaotic vibe. We waited an hour for our food, which CCTV would confirm, only to get cold chips and a meal missing the popcorn chicken, which showed up 10 minutes later after more waiting. The staff were clearly stretched thin, and service at the counter was painfully slow, so we left the disorganized dining area without raising the raw chicken issue then and there. I sent KFC the receipt details and a photo of it through their survey, but their response was beyond disappointing. Stephen F, a Senior Case Handler, claimed the chicken was cooked to 82°C based on “cooking records” but didn’t even ask to see my photos, which clearly show the chicken was raw. It feels like they just ticked boxes to brush this off. Worse, nobody from KFC—not Stephen, the restaurant manager, area coach, or regional coach—bothered to ask how my son was doing, despite his serious illness. Their offer of a £15 voucher was a slap in the face, especially after an hour-long wait and a major food safety failure. KFC said no one else complained that day, but that doesn’t justify serving raw chicken. The filthy state of the dining area makes me question what’s going on in the kitchen. This whole experience shows a total lack of care for customers’ safety and well-being. I’m sharing my photos of the raw chicken and dirty restaurant on Google, TripAdvisor, and X so people can see for themselves. Stay away from this KFC—your health’s not worth the risk.

The Service there was unbelievable! We waited over and hour for our food and that isn’t the the first time we have waited over an hour for our food, it wasn’t even busy! The tv saying when everyone food was done was completely wrong because we were on the ready side with a bunch of orders that weren’t even there!! Also to top it all of the food was horrendous! The amount of chips was so small even a small child could finish them! We got ten small chips in each bag, and they were as though they were kept in the fridge they were that cold and they were either undercooked or soggy!! The burgers were awful as well, they were burnt on the outside and raw in the middle and the buns looked like they had been sitting out for days. They were all shrivelled up and impossible to bite. The drinks were not good either. They were spilling everywhere and was 90% ice and 10% drink! I must say we are never going back to that kfc again!!! They also said they had bbq stack burger but when we went to order it we couldn’t because even though it said it was on the menu it wasn’t!!

UPDATE - this was over a year ago and since they opened, they’ve gotten a more reliable team. The team there are lovely, would do anything to help and are as fast as they can be. Of course it’s slow at times, but they’re a small place. There’s a couple specific members of staff that are particularly lovely, we don’t know them by name though:( there’s a bigger guy with a beard, I think he might be a manager, but he’s so nice, would do anything to help you, nothing is a problem at all! The ONLY thing I’ll say is that the sweetcorn is always brown and tastes a little off? It’s always the same and I’ve never seen it at any other KFC. We also seem to have items missing with most orders and we have to check each time.. but it’s the same with the McDonald’s across the road and most other places in the Dock 💀 I recommend them more than the McDonald’s though, the staff at this KFC just make it 100x better, always say have a good day and nothing is too much hassle. Honestly, they’ve brightened my day several times and we need that in this world! Some kindness! And good service of course 🤣 You’re always working hard KFC, thank you!

This place is SO SLOW. I ordered a watermelon drink and it took 15 minutes to be made because the girl was just staring at me. I’ve never been to such a slow fast food place/drive through. Currently been waiting 20 minutes for a box and there are still 3 cars in the drive thru that are still because nothing is happening. It’s slow food, not fast food 😭 at least the inside is...
