Wow wow wow. What a fantastic place. We have passed so many times but have never had the chance to pop in. We popped in not long before they were shutting but did not feel rushed to hurry up. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable when it came to dietary requirements. The food was stunning. We had a ham and coleslaw sandwich and a ham, cheese and salad sandwich. With some potatoe salad and chips. Everything was so delicious and tasty. All made fresh. Plenty of decaf options on the drinks too. The place itself is beautiful. Lots of wood and spotlessly clean. It was relaxed, nice music. Really could not ask for more for a lovely lunch. Will definitely be returning soon :)

There is a very friendly welcome to be had here serving a wide range of items on the menu and all home cooked. They offer thoughtful conceived lunchtime style snacks for meat and vegetarian tastes, also serving breakfasts until 11am. The cakes are fabulous too. The deco is simply yet thoughtfully conceived being a repurposed old public house. This is a must place to eat and have a cuppa when passing through or staying in Cydweli. It is dog friendly too! We will definitely be exploring more on the menu next time we venture to these parts.

Visited on a very frosty 10/12/22. This place was absolutely lovely. The staff were very welcoming and sat us next to a warm radiator so we could warm up. We started with a latte and then had a delicious festive baguette. The food was stunning !!! Certainly set us up for the day. Fairly priced and has so much variety on the menus. If you're visiting the Castle, this place is less than a 10-minute walk.

How rude!!! I rang today to check the Deli was dog friendly and told yes as long as the dogs were well behaved, which mine absolutely are. The owner is obviously not tolerant of dogs! We sat down with 3 small dogs, admittedly the tiniest on a lap until I had put her lead on so that she could go on the floor. All the customers were smiling at the dogs BUT the owner came over and told us we needed to get them all UNDER the table which was impossible with 4 sets of chairs legs and 4 human legs. I said they were fine as they couldn't have been any closer to the table but he still wasn't happy. I said I had phoned to check they were dog friendly and he said "They were in the way!"

Obviously NOT DOG FRIENDLY !!

We went to Parc Y Bois and what a difference! Even.came away with a sackful of free samples from John Burns!! What a gent, and what...
