I live in Cardiff but visit North Wales every couple of weeks to visit family. I can honestly say I have yet to discover any other place in North Wales that has the class, atmosphere, well curated food and drinks menu and considered interiors of LLofft.
I often travel all over the UK with work and I consider myself someone who seeks good food every place I go (I research and keep a list of every spot in the UK). LLofft's food is to the same standard as some of the best known places I visit in Cardiff and London but with much much better views! (and a kids park across the road).
Today we had the Sunday Lunch for the first time which had quality ingredients and generous portion sizes. We also came with two small children that were well catered for and really enjoyed looking at the boats from the spectacular view of Afon Menai from upstairs. My particular favourite was the cauliflower cheese with kale.
You know a place has a good chef if your favourite thing on the menu was cauliflower!!
Now that I know how good the Sunday Lunch is here I'll probably want to go every time I'm visiting North Wales . That being said we also felt it was reasonably priced too so coming back shouldn't be a problem.
I would highly recommend visiting LLofft around lunchtime for something to eat but also stick around long enough to sit outside with a drink and watch the infamous sunset over Afon Menai.
10/10 North Wales has needed a place like this for a long time.

Dwi'n byw yng Nghaerdydd ond yn ymweld â Gogledd Cymru bob cwpl o wythnosau i ymweld â'r teulu. Gallaf ddweud gyda llaw ar fy nghalon nad ydw i wedi darganfod unrhyw le arall yng Ngogledd Cymru sydd hefo cystal awyrgylch, bwydlen a dylunio ystyriol sydd gan LLofft.
Rwy'n aml yn teithio ledled y DU gyda gwaith ac rwy'n ystyried fy hun yn rhywun sy'n chwilio am fwyd da ym mhob man yr af (dwi'n ymchwilio ac yn cadw rhestr o bob man yn y DU). Mae bwyd LLofft i’r un safon a rhai o’r llefydd mwyaf adnabyddus dwi’n ymweld â nhw yng Nghaerdydd a Llundain ond gyda golygfeydd llawer gwell! (a pharc plant ar draws y ffordd sydd yn handi iawn).
Heddiw cawsom y Cinio Dydd Sul am y tro cyntaf oedd yn cynnwys cynhwysion o safon a phlatiau hael. Daethom gyda dau o blant bach oedd wir yn mwynhau edrych ar y cychod o olygfa ysblennydd Afon Menai o 'lan LLofft' (felly hawdd iawn i mam a dad orffan bwyta heb gael eu styrbio!) Fy hoff beth oedd y caws blodfresych gyda chêl.
'Da chi'n gwbod bod gan le gogydd da os mai blodfresych oedd eich hoff beth ar y fwydlen!!
Rwan mod i'n gwbod pa mor dda yw'r Cinio Sul yma mae'n debyg y bydda i eisiau mynd bob tro y byddaf adra. Wedi dweud hynny roeddem hefyd yn teimlo ei fod yn bris rhesymol hefyd felly fydd ymweld yn aml ddim yn broblem.
Byddwn yn argymell yn fawr ymweld â LLofft o gwmpas amser cinio am rywbeth i'w fwyta ond hefyd aros yn ddigon hir i eistedd y tu allan gyda diod a gwylio'r machlud dros yr Afon Menai.
10/10 Mae Gogledd Cymru wedi bod angen lle sy'n gneud bwyd cystal ers amser maith.

Read moreI visited Llofft a little while back and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the Sunday lunch, the veg (of which there was plenty) tasted fantastic and the beef was tender and juicy.
Service was 10/10 with friendly staff. The place has been painted and decorated in a classy, tasteful way. Great to see Welsh on the menu and all signs too. The views of the Menai Strait are second to none and the location is perfect for a little stroll after a full belly, looking out to Anglesey. There's a public park nearby as well if you have little ones too.
Go for the food, stay for the view.
To quote Schwarzenegger - I'll be back.
Diolch yn fawr iawn Llofft, bwyd a...
