This is the only McDonalds restaurant outside a city that I’ve been to which has security on the door.
In the times that I’ve sat in there with my children, there’s been teenage boys dealing drugs in the toilets, gangs of boys shouting sexual profanities at teenage girls trying eat their food. Security and staff did nothing.
In terms of the way things are run, they prioritise the deliveries over the customers in the drive through. The delivery drivers often park in the disabled bays. I’ve had one mcdelivery from there once and it missing half the items and when I complained the driver couldn’t have cared less, I went through the claim channels but never received my money back.
The kitchen is not very well organised as items are always missing items and when I go through the drive through or there are lengthy waits in the bays outside.
Surely there must be a franchisee manual or key performance indicators they should be hitting.
Much is made in the press at the moment on why McDonald’s is a failing company , I’m sure one of answers is franchises like this destroying...
Read moreWent for just two standard Big Mac meals, the time was 12:45. And I used the drive through. Now one would have thought that preparing for I’m guessing one the busiest times of the day you not have to queue with about 3/4 other drivers but no we had to wait for burgers. When i asked why the delay I was told we’re just busy, no you weren’t there were thre cars waiting and none in the drive through. The problem is two fold the amount of cars in the click and collect spaces was taken up by just eat and other driver taking deliveries, why are they allowed to do this and get priority treatment you’re not not the only fast food doing this and it’s becoming a pain in the backside. The same happens when you sit in. Secondly an acknowledgment by the kind girl that did eventually bring my food said I’m sorry we are understaffed and I would complain also. A great advert for you company. I very much doubt I will get a response as you all seem to...
Read moreDrove past and stopped by on a Sunday evening. It wasn't busy at all. I sat in. Wanted to use my laptop to do some work and play some game whilst having a meal after mountain biking in Cwm Carn. The wait for food wasn't out of the ordinary. Food quality (Big Mac meal) was standard of many McDonald's. A staff memeber even suggested where I could sit to use my laptop. The only problem was, like another reviewer Helen West, I got a parking fine from Parking Eye for parking there 2 hours 28 minutes. £60 in 14 days or £100 afterwards. 60 quid for 2 and half hours! Outrageous! It's not like it was even during busy daytime hours. I travel a lot with work up and down the country. I stop by a lot of McDonald's for a coffee, using WiFi etc. Never have I got a parking ticket from a...
