Motley Pie & Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

Few weeks ago I've tried Motley's Pies first time bought 'on-go' in theirs second branch in Pontarddulais and totally fell in love in those little pies full of juicy, tender flavours.

Last weekend I decided to head to Gowerton as I'm watching growing foodie scene 🍽️ since quite long time now. This is the famous, original, first shop of Motley's Pies is based on! Starting from warm welcome and cozy ambience I have been informed that... Today there is not impressive choice in pies which left. And that was a true. Two varieties and bacon roll (delicious! 😋 as it was well saved in memory from Pontarddulais). There is a deal - Grab 3 for £10 so I went with two Steak & Ales and one Feta with Tomatoes. Taste the same! Wonderful high quality ingredients perfectly blended together with tasty pie dough... Only this size... Well for (normally) more than £3 you can expect something a bit more impressive than half of your hand.

No matter what if you didn't try Motley's yet don't even think just go & grab one as these are worth all the fuss about!

Billy and the team recently catered for our wedding in Swansea, for 140 people. The food was absolutely outstanding with all of our guests telling us how much they enjoyed it. What I would say that stood out for us though was Billy and his team made sure everything went smoothly for us in the build up and on the day itself. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and Billy was always a quick call away if we had any questions. That calm but professional approach meant we always felt in safe hands. We are so lucky to have a local independent food outlet be at our wedding, it was always what we wanted and it did not disappoint. We can’t recommend Motley Pie highly enough to anyone looking for food for your event or just in general!...

I'm always excited when new places like this open up, so when I heard about this place in Gowerton I couldnt wait to try it. The product is exceptional and far superior to that of M&S and Sainsbury's. While we were wolfing ours down, there was a wave of the taste of ale which shows that this is a quality product. You don't get this quality or flavour in any of the food retailers. Obviously we had to share the meat with our pet cat, who when we had finished was looking for more.
