My recent visit to Mumbai Indian Kitchen was nothing short of a harrowing nightmare for my entire family. I feel compelled to share the complete truth of our experience to raise awareness and call for immediate action. The service at Mumbai Indian Kitchen was deplorable. Not only were staff members unresponsive and inattentive, but they also subjected my family to racially discriminatory remarks and offensive behavior. To make matters worse, we were pushed and verbally abused, with restaurant staff instructing us to leave the premises. This aggression was directed at my wife, two small children, my father and me, leaving us traumatized and deeply hurt. The already terrible experience was compounded by the dismal quality of the food. It was evident that little care or attention was given to the preparation of the dishes. Our meals were tasteless, poorly cooked, and far below the basic standards of any restaurant. In addition to the appalling behavior, I discovered a mosquito inside my food, which is not only unsanitary but also dangerous for diners. It's unfathomable that such negligence can exist in a food establishment.* The staff's disruptive and inappropriate behavior further contributed to our anguish. Their loud and disrespectful conduct made an already distressing situation unbearable. My family and I should never have been subjected to such a horrifying experience. We were customers, expecting nothing more than a pleasant meal in a safe and welcoming environment. Instead, we encountered racism, verbal abuse, poor service, food of substandard quality, hygiene issues, and a complete lack of respect for basic customer rights. also after this happen they don't want to give me bill because they know now i will doing complain about them. I implore the management of Mumbai Indian Kitchen to take immediate and comprehensive action to address these grave issues. They must conduct anti-racism training for their staff, implement stringent hygiene and quality control measures, and ensure that such incidents are never repeated. In summary, our visit to Mumbai Indian Kitchen was an excruciating ordeal marked by racism, verbal abuse, deplorable service, subpar food quality, hygiene issues, and disruptive staff. I urge everyone to reconsider dining here until the restaurant addresses these severe problems and takes the necessary steps to ensure the safety, dignity, and enjoyment of all patrons. also i include some...
Read moreAt approximately 2 pm, I called to book a table and specifically asked for the price of a child’s meal. I was told it was £10.95. My son is 11 years old and so is my friends child. At no point during the call was I informed that the child’s price only applies to those under 9 years of age. This information is also not displayed anywhere on your website, menu, or signage.
Upon checking the bill, I noticed I had been charged the full adult price of £16.95 for my son’s meal. And same applies for my friends son.
This is extremely disappointing, especially as the children ate very little . Charging 11 year olds adult prices is very wrong as a child doesn’t eat the amount an adult eats .
Clear communication of pricing and age restrictions is essential to avoid misleading customers, and unfortunately, my experience today has left us...
Read moreI went there a feew weeks ago on a Wednesday with my partner. We chose the meal to share for 2. The food was cooked lovely. lamb was especially good and of course rice. We tried the food in sauces as seen in pictures. The staff was great, friendly and explained everything to us so we could recognise what we are eating.
They serve plenty of food so we couldn't finish them all, so they offered us to take it away. Hence, the packed the rest of food for us and we enjoyed the other day too 😊
i believe meal to share for two is definitely enough for three, too. so if you are a group of three, go with smaller meal rather a larger one.
