Great little place. The course was well laid out with plenty of variety and dips and gradients to keep it interesting. My 12 year old boy is notorious for finding things boring but he had fun all the way around! My 16 year old boy and his same age friend had great fun as well and found it challenging but fair and had a good battle going on for par.
There's a little hut where you can buy soft drinks and they accept card payment. The chaps in the hut were friendly and explained the process and let us choose our balls then we were off very quickly.
There is no car park directly by the course, but opposite the course you will most likely find spaces along the road for free (mind though as it's a pretty busy fast road to cross) or there are a couple of paid car parks at either end of the course about 3 minutes walk away.
It was a good day out. Took 4 of us about 90 minutes to finish the course and good value for 4...
Read moreEscobar junior loves a game of foot golf so while we were in the vicinity on a bit of business (classified sorry so cannot say any more about that), me and Mrs Escobar decided to take him for a game. Top tip from your favourite Escobar Money Saving Expert, if you book online it's cheaper. The course isn't too tight for a links although it is very uneven. This made for a good challenge for us because the Escobar family are brilliant at football ⚽️ I myself got a hole in one during the game but sadly there wasn't a big posh clubhouse for me to buy everybody a round of drinks (As per custom. I should know because I've had a few hole in ones in my time). The footballs were of good quality and the holes were well maintained. I finished the course three under par despite the wind doing it's best to try and stop me. Afterwards we had ice creams on the beach. I might buy a beach house...
Read moreWent in the half term. Man working there was very friendly and helpful. The place is fairly easy to find, the hut you start from can be seen from the main road. There is no parking at the venue though. You can park at a car park to the east or west of it, and 5 mins walk to the hut. Gentlemen working there said you can park opposite, but I'm not sure that's a good option given it's a clearway. Course was good size. My 7 year old managed it and wasn't tired. Great to play footgolf and enjoy the views of Swansea Bay...
