Old Village Shop Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

This is a great little cafe and shop. I have eaten here many times and always enjoyed my meals. Andy, Victoria and Lewis along with the other staff (my apologies for not knowing your names) always ensure a good welcome and fresh food. In the winter the log burner is lit in the huge old fireplace, adding to the overall experience. It is easy to find on the A48, there is a good sized car/bike park and horses have even been 'parked there' too. As a biker Andy always welcomes fellow bikers and also hosts the Bevans RAT's - Riders Association Triumph - meet every month, not in normal trading hours. Although this cafe is very popular with villagers and passers by, a table can always be found and your visit can be as quick or as leisurely as you would like it to be. Great little...

To be honest the opening times are pathetic, didn't take into consideration about the residents of Bonvilston when you did that did you??

The pricing of produce is a shambles as well, see those kinda prices in Tesco and Asda to be honest, in the 12 years I have lived in Bonvilston I watched you hike those prices and blamed the sugar tax

Paid a visit to the old mill shop and cafe this morning, so many changes since covid 19, felt totally safe, outside eating area is fantastic so much space enabling social distance, myself and my partner both had the full English with a hot drink each, the breakfast totally lived up to its reputation of being the best breakfast in Wales, Totally recommend this place, first class service, top...
