Stopped by for breakfast on a 50 day nationwide bike tour of all 92 EFL stadiums - Cycle 92 Top breakfast and coffee and even better hospitality from Andy and the team, introducing me to the local football team ahead of the South Wales FA Cup Final, giving me a pin badge and promising to collect donations for my fundraiser in aid of Prostate Cancer UK & Queenscourt Hospice. Cheers fellas! All the best! 🙏⚽️

On the morning of Sunday 8th September 2024, I was in need of a classic British Breakfast also referred to as:

a Fry-Up

Whilst for a weekend vacation in nearby Penarth (a suburb of Cardiff), which is extremely popular therefore always busy for food & drink.

Sometimes, I want loud and other times peaceful for this occasion it was the latter.

Via Google, I located Perry's Pitstop Café in the nearby Dinas Powys neighborhood. Going to the Train Station, that's on the far-end of Penarth:

Cogan

An eight minute journey ending at Dinas Powys that then turn right at the exit - a straight five minute walk down the to the Café.

What, I found was a very neat clean safe neighbourhood with helpful residents.

The Café is at the side of what seems a car mechanic garage inspired by what's common in America. Customers have something to eat whilst their vehicle gets repaired.

The café is a nice size not too small yet not too large.

The staff where very friendly, the venue at the time I attended was quite yet steady in custom.

I went with the Mega Breakfast yet didn't want Baked Beans and Tomatoes due to personal preference. I was asked if, I wanted something additional which is rare for British Cafés this impressed me.

I went with an additional Black Pudding.

The service was quick, the food highly enjoyable & importantly no music (it's either way too loud or style not to my liking in eateries throughout The UK).

If, I lived in the area I'd at least visit this business twice-a-month for a...

Place was empty but was asked to move so a regular could have their favourite seat! Considering I eat there often! Then after paying was told theres a 30 min wait for the stove to heat up. After 15 mins the chef turns up. Finally got my tea and the cup was filthy. Radio was on but not a set channel all i could hear was loud static. The list could...
