Plough — Restaurant in Wales

Hosted my sons christening after do this past weekend. The lounge had plenty of room for 30 of us all to have a seat and mill around. We opted for a cold food buffet which was really nice and a great array of food, home made sausage rolls and pizza as well as lovely coronation chicken, chicken mayo and egg sandwiches. The fresh made pasta also went down really well. The staff and the landlord couldn't be more helpful and everything went off perfectly. Very poor.. the lady and gent who run the pub sit drinking away the profits.. they bring in takeaways and should sit in the restaurant area but they don’t.. customers are not allowed to do this so really they need to set the example and not eat in the bar area.. the gents dog was aggressive towards one of mine.. the gents attitude is unfriendly and unwelcoming much as the same is the lady who runs it too.. don’t bring your dogs here as the guy running it might feel embarrassed if yours gets more attention than his.. I’ve been a regular at the plough over the years, it has great new(ish) owners, and it WAS a great local. Unfortunately, a member of staff, blue/green haired lady, has forced me to go elsewhere. On several occasions she’s been extremely rude, dismissive and borderline offensive, pays more attention to her phone than customers, clearly has her favourites and makes snarky comments about the regulars.
