Positioned to serve the Premiere inn next door and a great busy road near Wrexham with some parking available for non hotel visitors. The place itself is spacious, with high standards of furnishings and a feel of warmth and quality. The food from the main menu is typical pub fare including a steak and a couple of Curries but fairly standard. My chicken however was well cooked and juicy and the salad was fresh and crisp, the highlight of this visit. Upin arrival, I was ignored twice by the same lady who was determined to avoid any eye contact or acknowledge me waiting to be seated. The barman dealing with around 100 empties managed to show me to the biggest table available (dining solo) and took a drink order 👍. 5 minutes later I get a menu once my order went in It was around 15-20 minutes for my meal Which is fair but Id already spent an additional 15 minutes getting to thst stage. I would give this restaurant another try because the food was well prepared if not as good as homemade and maybe there will be different floor staff on shift.

We often visit The Beeches pub and restaurant for dinner and on this occasion for breakfast.. Usually we have breakfast before setting off on our travels... Great way to start the day and then set up for the journey... We opted for the full menu.. Continental buffet and a hot breakfast... There is an option for continental buffet only.. Book in and pay on arrival... although I do recommend booking in advance on the Beeches website... can be very busy at times... Member of staff shows you to your table.. Help yourself to the buffet style continental and selection of drinks.. Tea coffee and juice etc . The cooked unlimited breakfast order is taken and cooked fresh in the kitchen.. We have only ever been happy with the food and the service here.. And is why we return..

4 of us called in without a booking. It does get busy due to being attached to a premier Inn. Even though there were many tables free, which may have been booked, it was like, let's see if I can squeeze you in, felt a bit false. Service was a little slow and when asked for any extra sauces and we requested some they never arrived. Most food was OK, but the rump steak was like leather, no chance in cutting it at all. As there was no table check while eating, I did flag someone down, they did offer a replacement or alternative and as we said no thanks, the meal was removed from the bill. Long queue to pay and people arriving at 7 is where told a 40 minute wait for food. Will book next time as we normally do.

Attended with a party of 15 being 5 children 10 adults for Christmas dinner pre booked at £56 per adult and think £17 per child. The menu stated adult meal came with glass of champagne and was far from the case, we had to go to the end of the bar to be given a small glass beaker with not even half of the champagne in it. When the food arrived the children’s starters were extremely poor as Christmas tree pizza from what as described was far from it and the garlic bread was rubbish and very thin. One of the staff who was serving the meal and taking the orders for drinks was very rude on occasions especially when a member of the party mentioned that a number of the meals were wrong and that the adults roast dinners were also wrong and items missing. The meat was extremely poor as I ordered the trip of meats and didn’t touch any of it. The veg was hard and not cooked enough and the roast potatoes were frozen potatoes not a single effort had gone into that preparation for Christmas dinners at all extremely disappointed for the price of it per person and the amount of us who had booked weeks in advance to be there. The tables didn’t even get cleaned prior our visit and where I was sat there was food and salt all over the table. Surely it don’t take much to make sure that the experience of paying guests is met and even more so when they have paid a hell of a lot of money to be there. I’ve had a nicer roast dinner there months ago but again the veg was the same as what we received on the 25 December. My little girl didn’t even touch her food and went hungry till I got home and it ruined the experience of going out for Christmas dinner to this venue again as we have attended here for birthday celebrations in large groups. Really...

On a long weekend break, we arrived at 5.30 pm on a Sunday - normally you would expect this to be fairly quiet. The restaurant area seemed very busy and we were told there would be a 20 minute wait for a table so we took drinks into a seating area. The staff seemed pretty stretched and, on closer inspection, there were plenty of unfilled tables towards the rear of the restaurant. Twenty minutes turned into an hour without any update. After being seated at our table we waited another 10 minutes before our order was taken. Being a Coeliac with a Vegetarian partner we often find it difficult to find appealing options out of a limited selection, although here the main menu itself has plenty of attractive sounding choices if you have no restrictions. We checked items with our waitress Suzanne and were then given the allergies menu. Suzanne returned after another 5 minutes to tell us that our chosen sea bass options were not available but recommended a couple of alternatives. I chose the lamb rump with a red wine gravy and it was a great choice, served with minted new roast potatoes and broccoli stems. My partner had the Cheddar cheese and Bramley apple tart which was more substantial than expected and tasty. Despite the long wait -presumably because of insufficient staff rather than huge numbers of guests - the food was good and plentiful. Suzanne kindly spent time assisting our choice once she was free to serve us and explained that she is also training other staff there. In conclusion, the food was good, the place seems popular with a nice ambience, but our particular experience was marred by the long wait and menu...

The lady who served our food Suzanne was fantastic we gave her a tip she she was constantly helping customers serving, taking orders, getting drinks, cleaning, she never stopped. Firstly we had to use our torches on our phones to see the menu it was so dark where we were put to sit we did say to manager but we never got moved. But my food which we both had rib eye steaks with peppercorn sauce onion rings chips peas tomatoe onion rings were soggy plus not in with meal had to pay extra for soggy ones, my meal was cold my wifes was Luke warm. Got it changed came back with no onion rings on it no sauce as we poured it on had to ask for more . Wifes starter prawn cocktail some lettuce was dirty as it hadn't been washed. They dont serve smooth there there must of been at least 8 men asking for a pint of smooth, had to have this other ale omg it was murky and flat disgusting taste, changed to pedigree but that wasnt much better. My wife asked for Pepsi no ice and lemon, it came with ice in loads of it whole glass full, less Pepsi for one so wife said I did ask for no ice, it came back flat as anything no lemon. Omg it was supposed to be my treat for wide who was 50 but we left feeling so disappointed team leader fella on black shirt Corey he just standing round chatting to manager, instead of helping women as they were running round like blue xxxx flies he never spoke to us when he came to the table, he walked round with head down didn't engage with customers at all wat team leader is that. So so...
