Raj Balti — Restaurant in Wales

Visited here with my Mother and three grandchildren. The cost of £70. Asked them to break the bill down and discovered they had charged £6.95 each for two sauces for the kids. £4.50 for chips which are probably aldi specials. We used to always go there but stopped going because of grumpy Mo, but started to go back recently. After this ripping off debacle, we will not be returning. We're disgusted over the sauce which is a splash on a plate and charge £7 for it and not even a proper portion in a balti dish for any of the meals. My meal was dry and not enough sauce. I've had a takeaway from Holywell Indian and found this far superior to the meal I was served last night. In future I will be going there. Raj Balti don't seem to realise there's a cost of living crisis and are happily ripping...

Very nice meal had by myself and my girlfriend tonight. Food was on the pricy side, however it was freshly cooked with what seemed to be quality ingredients. Wednesday night meant the place was deserted but have seen the place heaving on other nights. Was given a warm welcome by the hosts and they were very interested in knowing our opinion of the food as they seemed to care a lot about the quality of the product that they served. Food was well presented and was of a good quantity as well as quality. They also have a tandoor oven for authentic naan breads. Only drawback is their choice of drinks which is limited and I believe they allow alcoholic drinks to be brought in as they do not have a liqueur...

VERY POOR SERVICE.

10-15 mins of sitting down and no drinks where offered. When the waiter finally came over, we waited an additional 20 mins for the starter to arrive, which was okay but the half of the order was wrong.

20 mins or so after the starter, the mains arrived, which again was okay. The restaurant was not full and was on a Thursday night @ 19:45, yet telephone orders (takeaway) seemed to be taking more priority over table diners.

Staff where okay and the food was okay (not the best Indian cuisine) I have tasted, yet wont be going back after the waiting so long for my food and low level of customer service during the whole time.
