As a regular, this is my go-to cafe in Pontardawe as the food is always excellent and quick and good value for money. Recently, though, the food and service have been below their usual high standard. Some recent examples over the past 6 weeks or so have been meagre fillings in the panini and cold and inedible (raw onion, cheese not melted, dried out bread), food being sent back (which is embarrassing for both customerand staff), jacket potatoes which are still frozen inside, no side salad, poached eggs that are over cooked and dried out, forgetting orders, lack of stock and nearly always out of decaff coffee. I'm only leaving a review because I don't want a great café to get a bad reputation. The staff are always lovely and we love that it's dog friendly too :-). I hope you will take my review as constructive. We will keep up our weekly visits and hope some improvements are made.

What an absolute gem of a place! Haven't been to Pontardawe in years and we were lucky to stop in and find this place. Nice, friendly staff, clean tables and lovely crockery. The food was delicious with proper salad, not just a few leaves and tomato! Proper pot of tea and my mocha was scrumptious . Chilled out atmosphere as well. We'll definitely be returning.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Stopped in for a quick catch up with a friend, and a flat white. Stayed for four more cups. Delicious....

We love this coffee house and often call for late breakfast and are pleased you are open on Sundays now. The coffee and food we have had were all very good quality, well presented and nicely served. We have only one constructive criticism and that is that the lovely cakes always on display on the top of the counter are left uncovered open to contamination by flies, human coughs and sneezes etc, they should be covered in see through containers. In spite of this, we will still visit your lovely coffee shop, but cannot at this time contemplate ordering one of the lovely cakes, until they are covered as...

Owner of the place both times I've been here seemingly watched the staff like a hawk and breathes down their necks, all of them look so tired and overworked, bless them! Spoke to the owner and seems incredibly fake, seems like an unhealthy work environment for a minium wage. Food was dry and stale, you could tell it's been microwaved. The coffee is fine, the staff are clearly trying their best so no faults to them. Wouldn't be returning a third time though, so uncomfortable in there. Poorly accessible for disabled people as well...
