Tafarn-Y-Felin — Restaurant in Wales

It is with regret that we have today visited tarfarn y felin in Swiss valley with the family of 20 to celebrate an 8th birthday today which we had pre booked. We had chose our main meals as we we where asked to do so. On arrival we were told that we never pre booked our food but we had proof of conversation from messenger chat we were then to be told that meals ordered were not available, at this point we sorted it and ordered starters and mains and paid. It then took half an hour, to receive the first starters. Then following this from receiving the first main to the last was an hour and at this point the first mains had been finished and cleared and the children bored before the last two mains arrived. This was my mother's meal whom had ordered the same as my father however it came our different. My mother's steak was supposed to be medium cooked however was more blue than blue would have been if ordered. Our friends meal was gammon which the inside was raw and her egg under cooked and with shell in her food too. When we asked to speak to the manager Mr Singh he refused to come out and speak to us and as we were leaving the front of house staff has said it was his day off and he had now gone to rest. The other excuse from front of house staff was it is a lot of orders but we were the only ones having meals in the establishment. I would also like to add that the organiser is 32 weeks pregnant, the stress of this and the fact that food was undercooked is disgusting. After seeing a sign outside the pub for a new menu, we decided to call and welcome the landlords. We were a bit disappointed to see that the menu was not new but decided to stay and have a meal. Service was good, staff were friendly, however it was like being in a kindergarten, kids from the local gymnastic club were running riot not only through the pub but through the kitchen, outside door and toilets, some children were behind the bar helping themselves to a drink. One of the landladies was sitting on a table by the bar with 3-4 children and were continually shouting, screaming, playing around the area where there was no concern seen by the adult.On our leaving, one child fell in front of me which was quite dangerous as someone with hot food could have been in the area. Was very disappointed with the experience. The woman was very rude. She told us to leave after we booked a table in advance. They knew perfectly well we were all 16 years of age and told us we could order food before 7:30. Our table was booked for 7pm and we arrived at 7:10 pm as we had all walked down. When arriving the woman told us to leave as we are 'under age'. The comedian wasn't arriving until 9pm - there was plenty of time for us to order, eat and leave. Following this we all wrote a review on trip advisor stating how bad our experience was. The woman who told us to leave has said she wasn't rude when she clearly was.
