I absolutely loved this pub, it's the heart of the community, and the staff are amazing. It has a community shop with an honesty box for all those shopping needs, I needed a pint of milk for breakfast on my cycling tour so I was happy to see the shop. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous community run (rescued) local pub. Friendly atmosphere and locals with an attached honesty community sho and garden allotments. Great value drink and no food - a real old fashioned pub!

Absolutely fantastic community pub. We've been coming here for a few years now and there is always a warm welcome and a great pint of cold beer. A very welcome place to stop after a long walk!

Came here before the Llanstumdwy game for a couple of beers. Didn’t have the warmest of welcomes from the landlady who huffed and tutted when I asked if she could top up one of the beers. On ordering our 2nd round 2 of the beers were cloudy and hadn’t settled right even though she argued that they were perfectly fine, she finally agreed to “waste them” and the replacement ones were much better and settled almost instantly. I’ve been to many bars in many countries but never felt so unwelcome before as I have in this pub, the other pubs in Criccieth gave us a...

My wife and I stopped there for a drink after walking from Criccieth along the shore. It has a fantastic pub garden . Loads of pub benches and huts . Inside the pub is like going back into a real old pub . It's the sort of place you wish was your local . A great barmaid and local lager from Bala . Gorgeous. Orchard Gold cider and if you fancy it a local Welsh whisky go for it . Jones crisps which were the best I've had in years . All in all I'll go again when I'm in the...

As an outsider was made to feel a little awkward, I understand the pub is run by the community but also they must embrace visitors. The ale was okay at best, and served too cold. The main room was nicely done but the side room/music room where we found ourselves because we couldn't go outside with the dog (because there was a ticketed event)...
