Came here before the Llanstumdwy game for a couple of beers. Didn’t have the warmest of welcomes from the landlady who huffed and tutted when I asked if she could top up one of the beers. On ordering our 2nd round 2 of the beers were cloudy and hadn’t settled right even though she argued that they were perfectly fine, she finally agreed to “waste them” and the replacement ones were much better and settled almost instantly. Inside the pub is like going back into a real old pub . It's the sort of place you wish was your local . A great barmaid and local lager from Bala . Gorgeous.
