TERRIBLE! Avoid this place if you like good food! Ordered drinks first, my partner ordered lemonade, the waitress asked, “do you want ice and lemon?” Then was informed there was no lemon or lime but could have orange, she said ok I’ll have orange but it came without. Ordered large fish and chips which was very expensive at around £17 so was expecting something good. It arrived and the fish was about the size of two fish fingers side by side! The table opposite with three ladies on also couldn’t believe the size. The waitress said it was what the suppliers sent as large. Now to me the owners should be checking this and sorting it out with the suppliers. The waitress said she’d take it back and would I like anything else like a sandwich and she wouldn’t charge me. I went for ham and mustard, it came as ham and piccalilli! When I came to pay, they charged me £10 for that which they said they wouldn’t (two slices of brown bread and processed packet ham! Shocking. My partner had the Thai (very watery) curry and a bit of boiled rice, £15 please!!!! Absolutely shocking, rip off cafe that should not be allowed to serve food. Anyone who praises it must eat really badly at home! Worse...

Where to start,we was greeted warmly and was shown to a lovely outdoor seat with glorious sunshine, that overlooks the promenade. The waitress came and asked if we were eating or just drinks,we did want to eat here as we had previously eaten here before, last year. Our drinks arrived in a couple of minutes and we ordered our food, a chicken and bacon club sandwich and a seafood club sandwich . Our food arrived in less than 20 minutes, despite the cafe being busy. I absolutely loved the seafood club,I could taste all the flavours, prawn, salmon and crab and was packed with ingredients, serves with chips and coleslaw!! I don’t know how I finished it to be honest as they were ample potions. Also a clean plate from my other half with his club sandwich polished off aswell, sorry our dog ( who’s welcome here btw) didn’t get a crumb off either of us. This place is an absolute gem, served with a warm smile and delicious food,we’ll definitely...

The beach cafe at Penrhyn Bay, the food was DISGUSTING! and very over priced! Will never go again, and would not recommend. I ordered a fish finger sandwich,it came on a burnt(charcoal) panini, and a few chips,I tried one of the chip's and had to spit it out,it was cooked in an oil that tasted nasty, plus they were that hard you couldn't get a folk in. And the wait was long, around 30min. I told the waitress, and the head waitress/manager came out,and spoke very loudly so all the other diners could hear what she was saying, "OH IM SORRY ABOUT THAT,CAN I GET YOU ANOTHER ONE WITHOUT THE TARTAR SAUCE ON" I was embarrassed and just said no thank you,and paid for the drinks and left, then realised, what she had done. I'd not mentioned about tartar sauce, just that it was burnt and the chips were raw. We then went and had a 5* meal at THE WATERFRONT in...

Penrhyn Bay just past the golf club. Another positive experience during our second visit to this cafe. The location is quite charming, with a nice view of the sea and easy access to the beach. The bright and cheerful seaside decor, along with the friendly and attentive staff, contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. It's great to see that the cafe is still well-maintained and very clean. The menu seems to offer a variety of options to cater to different preferences. The mini fish and chips, prepared as per our request (asked for lightly battered and it was perfectly cooked) and the flatbread shredded duck with hoisin were delicious. It's wonderful that this cafe is enjoyable regardless of the weather. 5/5 👜👜👜👜👜 cafe handbag review for our fab lunch today. Definately worth a visit and you can walk it off along the coast to Rhos on Sea 👍
