We used to visit this pub many years ago when we owned a static caravan on Anglesey: back then it was in a poor state of repair but we went for the superb view from the beer garden. I have to say that the pub has had a dramatic makeover both internally and externally since those days and it would lend itself towards social events as there are multiple rooms which didn't seem to be actively used. We stopped for one drink as it was on the pricey side, probably to help pay for the renovations. However, if they were to serve food (which they currently don't and it's not clear if there are any plans to) we would have eaten and stayed longer. Families were welcome and I'm sure my children, when young, would have been excited to explore the gardens and play area. I'm sure this treasure of a place could be elevated further and make itself a destination given the location. It would definitely be somewhere I would go regularly if they produced good...

Visited here just before the 2 week lockdown. A fantastic little pub doing their best to survive with very few tourists. Serving the local snowdon ales the beer was perfect. They were not servicing food at the time, but this was to be expected. This a a great pub to visit with kids, sit outside and let them play on the swings while you take in the views. Friendly service and made to feel very welcome. We will be back. It’s worthwhile checking the sign at the end of the car park with the opening hours as you pass on your way down to the beach. Perfect spot to warm up after exploring...

I rated the food 5* but it's wasn't served when we visited.

This place is well off the beaten track and as well it is else it would be too busy to enjoy.

For us it was well worth the trip as the views are among the best on the island looking out across the baytowards Holyhead. If you add a late setting summer sun it really adds to the experience.

The layout of the pub is spilt over 2 levels with the lower level at the rear being the bar.

Well worth a visit a shame food isn't available but that's me wanting everything when what's on offer is...

Lovely old pub offering rooms In a stunning location. The views are tremendous. They aren’t serving evening meals (at the moment anyway) so get a feed in before going. They offer stop overs on the carpark for about a tenner. The carpark is slightly sloping in parts so if you’ve got nothing to level I advise you to pick your spot wisely. Ideal for exploring the coast. Woman behind the bar was friendly and I got chatting to an interesting local who was happy to inform me of some of the local history. They had one ale, which was nice, as was the Guinness.
