The Roadhouse Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

Service is very good. The Cafe & loos are very clean & well presented. The food is well prepared & served as well as anywhere. Only real gripe which it shares with other similar cafe's is the obvious economising on the sausages. They're the very cheapest MRM sourced bags of anonymous animal, but it's what you get for the money. I WOULD (& have) pay more for a better sausage with recognisable meat in it. As for the pay-later system; it's not a problem, its an echo of a time of trust & friendliness & I feel the 'bad' experience of one, is far from conclusive proof hgvof a conspiracy to defraud... If that was really happening, the cafe wouldn't exist here as it does, would it? Adjust to the culture & uncross your wires before connecting to...

Haven't been to the roadhouse cafe for over a year, went this morning about 8.45. We were one of the first there . I ordered the £7.80 breakfast x 2. I paid for it straight away at £15.60. It was OK, bacon was nice, beans were luke warm, ill give it a 6/10 and that's being generous!!. Anyway we finished the meal and just in the car, this woman came out shouting " you haven't paid for your meal". I said I have and paid straight away when ordering. Apparently people pay after they have had the food. Well that put me off for life if honest!! Won't be setting foot in there anytime soon. Accused of theft!!...

Stopped by on Saturday morning for breakfast. So glad we did!! Greeted with a warm welcome, gave us time to look at the menu, and then took our order. We ordered 2 full breakfasts. £8.50 each and well worth it! Bacon, sausages, hash brown, black pudding, fried eggs, beans, and toast were cooked beautifully! Bacon was so tasty!! Decent cup of coffee, too!! Toilet was clean. Plenty of room to park. We will 100% be calling back here! Already told family and friends about it!! Definitely worth a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...
