The Royal Oak Public House — Restaurant in Wales

We popped in here after a nice circular walk of the area. An absolutely lovely pub with cracking views of the estuary that we can't recommend enough. It was clean, warm and very comfortable. We visited in the winter but looks like there are some good outside spots for a barmy summer afternoon too! There's a great selection of drinks available and there was football playing on the big screens. Heather (the landlady) went out of her way to ensure that we felt welcome and is a perfect host. Myself and a group of friends visited this pub after taking part in a local running event. Really pleasant experience! The landlady couldn't have gone further out of her way to welcome us and make us feel at home. We sat on the quieter side which suited us perfectly as we could chat and eat our food.
