Café 81 — Restaurant in Warwick

My wife and I decided to give this café a try. The café is on the end of a row of shops in a small shopping centre with enough parking for a dozen or so cars. The main shop caters for at least 12 covers. A second room with a play area has several tables and a sofa catering for another 16 - 20 covers. There is a gender-neutral toilet and a separate baby-changing facility off the play area.

Our experience: Polite, efficient and friendly service. My wife had a bowl of 4 homemade American-style pancakes with blueberries and Maple syrup (just the right sweetness). I had the Builder's Baguette with Lincolnshire Sausage, best Back Bacon and superbly fried egg - not too runny in a buttered and very fresh Baguette. We both felt we had good value for money. The toilet was clean. The only disappointments are: No hot water was available. There was a water heater but turned off at the isolator. The hand dryer wasn't working on this occasion. Cafe 81 are brilliant! I have used them for baby showers, mother's Day meals, birthday milkshakes and recently a roast for my grandparents diamond wedding anniversary. Every time they are able to accomodate my request which is usually at short notice and massively appreciated. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Each experience I've had has been brilliant. They are all friendly and genuinely want to deliver great customer service.

The roast we recently had was absolutely amazing. It was so hot, there was so much food to go around. They even kept the gravy hot in a saucepan, let me take the saucepan and drop it back later.

Ordered two milkshakes. One is Nutella and one is biscoff and they are the tastiest milkshakes we have ever tasted!!! We have tried a lot of milkshakes from different places and I have to say these are the best milkshakes I have had! The biscoff one is out this world, so tasty indeed! I recommend and will return :D The quality of their food is also well recommended, a panini with fresh ingredients and cheese melted to perfection and a nice side salad with an especially tasty dressing to match.
