I came to new bar with my family to spend very nice time. I bought 2 carverys for me and my kid... I bought also beer and i spent 21.85 paunds. My woman usually eating to small that's why i didint buy extra carvery. Ussually when kid didin't finish she alwayes helped him. That bar boss was probably drunk his behaviour things what happened showed that... He noticed that I took alots eating to my plate but i took that quantity what I usually eat.. My kid took half of that... that boss shouted next to my new born child and he said that I took to much and he tryed to force me to buy another plate for kid... I ate my whole plate with eating my kid and woman not they left alots... That was terrible service for client I wanted call to Police and leave a bar but he didint want to give me money back... The worstest service what I ever saw. I never go...
Read moreI understand that we are living in difficult times but covid rules are there for a reason and need to be implemented. We wore masks waiting at the garden entrance, a waitress shouted over, "just grab a table anywhere". We sat down, waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged, I can accept that if the staff hadn't served other people who sat down after us. 95% of the customers didn't wear a mask when moving around, the staff wore masks around there necks leaving mouth and nose exposed. Customers moving around standing chatting to other customers, I recognise it's hard for staff and venues but if you can't do the basics...
Read moreI visited this pub on a couple of occasions in the last week and prior to lockdowns and think they have dealt with the reopening very well.
All staff wore masks inside and outside despite it not being necessary outdoors so this was appreciated
It was extremely busy and all staff worked very hard to accommodate. There was naturally a short wait with the amount of people but we were just happy to be back out supporting a local business that has had a tough time in the last year
