Pizza Go Go Watford — Restaurant in Watford

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place was a disaster from start to finish. I’ve tried both delivery and takeaway, and both were equally disappointing.

First, the pizza itself was barely edible. It arrived lukewarm, soggy, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The crust was rubbery, the cheese was oily, and the toppings were sparse and bland. Definitely not fresh.

When i tried takeaway, the experience somehow got worse. The restaurant was dirty — and sticky, the floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped all day, and there was a weird smell lingering in the air.

As for the service, it was shockingly bad. The staff were rude and dismissive, acting like we were bothering them just by ordering food. It took forever to get our meal, and when we politely asked about the delay, the response was attitude instead of answers.

Whether you're thinking of ordering in or eating there, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

This place needs serious improvement across the board — food, cleanliness, and customer service.

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this place. I wish i could give it zero stars, The pizza was absolutely disappointing. I ordered a Margherita, and it was bland at best. The crust was soggy, and the cheese barely had any flavor. It felt like they threw it together without much care or effort. The tomato sauce was thin and tasted like it came straight out of a can, and don’t get me started on the cheese —they were sparse.

But what really topped off the experience was the management and staff. I’ve never encountered such unprofessional service. The staff seemed completely disinterested in helping customers, and I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a pizza that wasn’t even made correctly. When I mentioned the issue to the manager, they seemed completely uninterested and offered no solution. Not even an apology. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely can’t recommend this place to anyone.

There are plenty of other spots in town where you get great pizza and decent service.

Found a shard of razor sharp metal in my partners pizza. Called pizza gogo as soon as it was discovered and was asked if I wanted a replacement. Obviously said no as we had now gone off it and asked for a refund. The manager said he would send someone around to collect the pizza. 3 hours later no one had turned up so I called back only to be told that it isn't being collected and we were getting a refund. The manager then insinuated that we put it in there as they have no metal in the kitchen and everything is pre-packaged so not really fresh.

We contacted their Head office explaining everything and never heard back
