Very Friendly and homely old fashioned pub. The Staff are polite and professional in their work, nothing is too much bother for Karen and Tim. Great atmosphere with the locals popping in regularly and Friday night is Karaoke Night. Perfect location as close to the Canal where you can stroll at your leisure then pop in for a beverage and meal. Meals are only available on certain days of the week so check first not to be disappointed. Every Sunday Chef Tim cooks a traditional Roast Dinner, both Adult and Child meals are available. So I have to say after my Sunday afternoon visit to this pub that my faith has been restored that there are still some great places to go for a drink. Very friendly with a great atmosphere, cold great tasting beer with plenty of choice. Home cooked food and somewhere to sit outside and a large public car park right next door.
