Visited on a Sunday afternoon, with a friend from India, on the basis of the high positive rating. Unfortunately the restaurant fell short of our expectations on all fronts. On arrival the restaurant was empty, we were seated and our drinks orders were taken shortly afterwards. We were the only people in the restaurant. It took a further 20 mins for our two drinks to arrive. We had meanwhile also ordered food dishes. My friend ordered fish. When we were told this would incur a 30 minute wait time, he asked if it was fresh and asked for extra seasoning. The chef Mr Ali makes the best onion bhajis around and even made time to leave the kitchen to introduce himself and serve us our main dish. The restaurant is run by Mr Tunu who was extremely welcoming, friendly and hospitable. What a gem! Hands down this is the best curry restaurant we have been to. I’d recommend it in...
