The Irish have a saying " there's always a warm welcome in our pub". This pub is the total opposite as its welcome is as cold as an ice bath. The government changed the covid rules and said all customers in pubs must wear a face mask and sit at a table. There's me walking in and not knowing the new rules were in affect and instead of being politely reminded of the new rules i was subjected to a stern dressing down by the ice queen bar staff in front of other customers. During the next 6 months pubs are going to be going through a difficult time, due to the government's new rules not my new rules. Every pub is going to need its customers but wont be getting any if there attitude is like this one. Sadly lots of pubs won't be around in six months time, hopefully...

Be prepared - there’s ONLY Thai food on the menu. Pub (drinks) and Thai restaurant are managed separately. The pub lady was lovely and patient with us.
