It doesn't matter how good the food is (quite average)..

When you order online are told by the takeaway to collect at 7pm, you arrive just after that and then wait another 45 mins with a number of other equally bemused customers, it's unacceptable.

When you see people who have booked a table being told to come back 30 mins later only for them to return and discover their table has been given to another group, it's unacceptable.

When you are called back when in your car because they forgot to put the rice in the bag, it's unacceptable.

When you get home and discover they have neglected to pack one of the main courses, so have to go back again to get it, that's unacceptable.

When they offer no gestures of goodwill in these circumstances it's beyond unacceptable, it's frankly disgraceful levels of customer service.

The owners need to find a manager who knows what they are doing and who can train their...

Only one word really to describe the quality of the food being incredible. Tried the spicy poppadom with dips. I'm not sure what the spicy condiment was it tasted lije lime and carrot with spice. Really good. For main dish we had the seafood grill and the lamb piro piro with the garlic chilli naan. The seafood dish was very flavoursome especially the salmon. The side curry sauce complimented the dish perfectly. The lamb curry however was the star of the show. A taste sensation, beautiful lamb and decent heat. Not a sight of any oil sitting on top The chilli garlic naan was superb Beautiful texture and flavour. Even the pilau rice was fantastic. We recently ordered takeout from Gurkha Village Bar and Grill at Burscough Wharf, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly spiced. Every dish was clearly made with care and attention, from the tender meats to the vibrant, fragrant sauces. 🍛✨

The portion sizes were generous, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. We loved how each dish had its own unique taste—authentic, but with a modern twist. The service was also excellent, with everything ready promptly and packaged well for takeaway.
