Humble Bumble Cafe — Restaurant in West Oxfordshire

My experience at the humble bumble cafe started very well, a beautiful view and friendly staff to greet you. We sat outside due to the view being nice. We recieved our drinks a mocha and a caramel latte, which were fantastic and they came in a nice sized mug so there was plenty to enjoy. We decided that we were going to have some food, so we ordered a brie and cranberry toastie as well as a mpt toastie ( mozzarella,pesto,tomato). We decided to get some sausage rolls to accompany them they were also delicious. All in all the food was fantastic and good value for money, so were the drinks. My rating however stems from the service we received after the coffees were kindly brought over for us. While waiting for food I decided while I waited, I was going to have a cigarette outside of the seating area on the grass (the public recreation ground). I was informered by a member of staff how there was no smoking on the premises, so I asked if it was the whole recreation ground and the lady confirmed yes the whole premises there's even signs. So I walked off of the premises to finish smoking. While I was there I thought I would have a look around for signage, stating this was the case there was not a single sign stating there was no smoking only signs that stated no dogs on the grass. So I went back to sit down outside in the seating area, where the waitress was taking people there orders, until it came to our order where we were simply called to collect our food. This would of been fine if we was not the only people who had to collect our own food, it felt like because we were smokers we weren't welcome anymore and made me feel uncomfortable. For this reason alone I shall not be returning. To me 60 percent of a rating is down to service and treatment. I was not made to feel welcome or wanted, which is a shame as it was beautiful, most of the staff were lovely I may add, but it only takes one person to make you feel unwelcome to spoil the...

Delicious baked goods (all sweet treats and the cheese scones are amazing), with something different each time I go. The breakfast baps are excellent and there's always an incredible selection of hot drinks. They also mix up the menu for the seasons and I want to make my way through the entire food and drink menu.

Wonderful staff who go above and beyond for customers and create a genuinely happy, positive place within the community. It's cosy inside during the cold/wet days and a fantastic place to sit out in the sunshine too.

It was my birthday and so we went out for something to eat and drink, we both had a Brie and cranberry panini but my partner had bacon in his, we also had a brownie and a praline slice, all the food was really tasty , nice HOT coffee I had a latte and in most places the temp of it is tepid at best, even in larger name brand places and for me way to strong, this was lovely and hot and just as a latte should be in the coffee strength (for me).
