Had been looking forward to visiting for a coffee with the family.
We were met with a very hostile welcome from one of the staff (had an apron of so possibly chef?!). Felt completely ignored despite us being the ONLY ones there and him milling around the front area for a while.
To our surprise, he then appeared very engaging with an older couple who came in with their 2 dogs. Told them about the company, gave their dogs a treat etc. We were sat on the adjacent table with our little girl and 2 dogs, which made the whole conversation awkward.

Read moreI have been here many, many times since it’s opened. It’s brilliant. Beautifully decorated and a great environment for work and pleasure. I often come for brunch and work during the week, have meetings with prospective clients , and enjoyed many wine evenings with friends. My children LOVE the cakes and ice cream. They source local so their offerings including fresh bread , wine , gin , pies and sauces etc etc are all local businesses. Lyanda (Mrs Sugarboo) and Seb(Mr Sugarboo) are always super welcoming , fun and friendly. The loyalty scheme is also great. I always get excited when it’s time for a free coffee! Read moreCame today for lunch and it was beautiful. Had the chicken, cheese, sun dried tomato and pesto panini. Also ordered the vegan sausage roll on the side to try and was lovely. To drink I ordered the chocolate milkshake and love the fact you can pick your own sauce to go on top which I picked the caramel sauce. Was a lovely atmosphere and was a super cute place. Only thing was that I ordered a Nutella cookie to take away and had it this evening and had no taste of Nutella at all. Was still good but just tasted of chocolate.
