I've never felt so un welcome in a cafe before. We traveled quite a distance on holiday on my birthday to support a local vegan cafe. We arrived 3 hours before closing and were given excuse after excuse as to why she couldn't serve us. She was eating her lunch, she has sent all her staff home, she had turned off the hot food counter, she was closing in a couple of hours, shes turned off the friers. She said she could still do most things but everything we asked for she had run out off there was another reason she couldn't make it (including the special that was still advertised on the board outside).

There was an abundance of options but we opted for the cheeseburger and chips. Everything was cooked fresh to order and the chips in particular were hand-cut and reminiscent of childhood.
