The worst McDonald's I have ever been to and it's not just because the uk menu is tasteless. The service here is some of the worse I've ever received. I feel bad for the servers that are kind but there are one or rwo guys that stand out because of how they rush me to take my order and are just plain rude in how they adress me. I don't expect pleasantries, i wouldn't be happy to be working at a fast food place either but basic common decency would be nice. I've had to go back in multiple times because of items missing from my order. I gave it enough chances and never plan to ever go back. I'd rather take the extra twenty minutes to go to the second nearest McDonald's at this point. I understand that it's in Britain and it's a fast food restaurant. But the bread on the mcmuffins is as hard as a brick. The ice cream is not even cold, tastes like styrofoam, i don't even know what it is but it's not ice cream. And their ketchup is watered down. Everything else tastes as dirt cheap as you'd expect a modern day corporate fast food joint to taste like. The inside tends to be crowded and/or dirty probably due to their cetral location. Idk if that's why they feel they can slack off or if they have a managment problem but I really hope five guys runs them to the ground and burger king gets replaced by a subway or something so people in that area have half...
Read moreOrdered one of large fries and two cups of tea; was given the large box of fries but looked more like a medium. This was to takeaway, so didn't notice until back in the car. No milk or sugar for the teas. Went through the drive thru to sort out the problem, thinking it'll be an easy fix. Had to repeat the problem three times from the Microphone Speaker to Window One and then Window Two where not one but two women on shift were on hand to sort the problem. Told them that there were hardly any fries and it's supposed to be a large, was told back that it is a large fry and held up the medium against the large. Explained nicely that we can see that it's a large container but there was no difference between how many fries were in each one. As she held the containers up, the large fry looked completely empty, no fries sticking up to the top as you would normally. Both ladies on shift quibbled amongst themselves as our fries and cups of tea were getting colder. Reluctantly, a few more fries were stuck in the top, not a fresh batch as you'd think after they'd been talking over them with their spit going everywhere. Finally, asked for two sugars and two milks that were forgotten when we first ordered. Again, reluctantly handed us one of each and had to ask again for another one. Crap service. Put us off...
Read moreCustomer service, always good, but how come the food never looks as good as on the pictures ??? Their excuse for "bacon" is terrible, Tho that's countrywide, so not the staffs fault, and at least the fillet of fish is now no longer the fillet of fish finger!! That it was becoming lol 😅 Anyway staff polite and efficient , food tasty once you reassemble it REVIEW UPDATE... NOW HAVING LIVED IN THE AREA FOR 20 MTHS, SO WITH MY FAMILY ARE REGULAR CUSTOMERS I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT 40-50 % OF THE Time, THE DRIVE THROUGH ORDERS ARE WRONG OR MOSTLY MISSING ITEMS, I AM FAR FROM THE ONLY LOCAL CUSTOMER WHO AGREES WITH THIS, FACT I can only assume that as a lot of trade is just passing through, they don't care as most of the trade will not turn back to complain, you cannot get through on the phone, for example, I queued for ages and paid for a philly melt meal, what I got was a quarter pounder with a teaspoon squirt of cheese sauce on top !!, either this is, bad training, miss management, or laziness, with the amount of FOOD SHORTAGES in my families drive through orders, and probably 100s of others over time, stock levels cannot match revenue taken, So I suggest, either, you sit at the collection window and check everything before you drive away, or go inside, purchase and check it there, before you...
