MR WANG'S - TRUST ME - FLAWLESS - FRESHLY COOKED - TASTY - PERFECT AMOUNT OF SPICE -DELIVERED HOT & QUICK EVERY TIME - GREAT SERVICE & NOT GREASY - HIDDEN GEM - CAN'T RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!! I DON'T USUALLY DO REVIEWS BUT FELT COMPELLED TO. IT'S A MINEFIELD WITH MOST REVIEWS CONTRADICTING EACH OTHER, LEAVING PEOPLE CONFUSED & UNABLE TO TRUST ANY ON FACE VALUE.

We moved here 5 years ago & I can't believe it's taken us this long to find this amazing takeaway. We had a regular place but they don't deliver & closed doors throughout this epidemic. The food was nice & cheaper, but now we only order from Mr Wang's, as their food is delicious & the service is amazing.

IMHO it is the best in the area. We've ordered from several places locally both directly & via all the 3rd party apps. I did thorough checks, reading endless reviews, which btw was like playing russian roulette with your stomach. Until now, we've tried loads of places & thrown most of the food away. We've ordered from here every week since & it's genuinely worth it. I hope that this review is helpful to clarify how good Mr Wang's...

We still hungry after this bad experience ...

We are ordering often takeaway or having our meal at Mr Wangs but tonight they have lose 2 customers as we were really disappointed. Food has arrived late, not enough warm, dry and we didn't have what we ordered. We ordered by bigfoodie on line. As usual we ordered our traditional dishes we like from this place. Chicken sweetcorn soup (who has arrived a bit cold) fried prawn croquettes with dip salad cream (when we open the box it was 3 dry Sium may with garlic mayo. My partner has ordered a fish curry and the owner contact us we have no fish tonight, she has proposed instead of a mix of seafood. The surprise it was 3 pieces of squid with onion and mussels all was nearly cold in curry sauce, very disappointed. I had a beef fried rice and it wasn't good as usual. We contacted the lady who was really sorry for the inconvenience and proposed 10% off for next time. Unfortunately we will not order, visit or recommend again this place for the future. This was the best Chinese meal we have had in a long time.

The food was not only hot and very fresh but absolutely delicious. With so many restaurants to choose from these days, it can be hard to suss out the good from the bad. I can definitely recommend Mr Wang and his staff (if indeed there is a Mr Wang) for a wonderful meal in a very convivial atmosphere.

(Ladies, do you like the hand-basins in the loo? Maybe the boys have them too but I really liked the decor!)

We had complimentary prawn crackers served with a plum dipping sauce on the table whilst we chose our food.

Crispy chicken slivers in a chilli and honey sauce, crispy duck in plum sauce, a side of plain noodles and egg fried rice complemented this.

The portion sizes are very generous and our meal could easily have fed three people adequately.

Wait till you see the bill! Having been used to overpriced Chinese meals in the past I couldn’t get over the one we had.
