UPDATE AUGUST 2020.......... Decor has been completely revamped - Updated completely with a much greater contemporary look and feel. It feels much more modern. I like it a lot and I'd guess so will a lot of other people. The quality of the food is just as good (If not a bit better). The small, pokey waiting room has been converted into a semi private dining area and has moved to the front of the restaurant (Much more logical than diners/take away customers having to walk through the entire restaurant on entry to the premises). The bar has also been moved from the back of the room to the front. Overall it is night and day better. Oh yes......... The next big (Service) upgrade is.............. They deliver. You can now phone them for a take away and they'll deliver it to your home. Marvellous. UPGRADED TO 5 STARS

OLD REVIEW 2017 Decor is quintessentially English take on traditional Indian. However, the food is very authentic and very good, with the chefs willing to moderate the heat of any dish to your liking. This allows you to appreciate the subtle taste of dishes that you usually can't taste because of the quantity of hot spices - Ask for a vindaloo at madras strength for example. Ask for Darren. Try the chefs specials - poor names,...

Gonna start this with , Ive been ordering food from this resturant for over 20 years and has always been to the highest standard . Only eaten in a few time because i prefer take aways. But the service and friendliness of the staff is second to none . Ordered a meal last week and it was overlooked and delayed . No ones fault , just one of those things that happen .. The manager spoke to me and sent a replacement meal down as soon as he could ... He then said to me that he would honour another meal of the same order free of charge .. I took him up on this offer and tonight they deliverd the goods .. Who would do that ??? Suhana did that !!!! Thier food is fresh and cooked with family pride that has lasted all these years that has kept me going back for more ...Superb friendly service with a smile . Thank you so much Suhana for providing my family with such great food over...

First time ordering and the food was late. We called for an update and could hear it was extremely busy in the background. Food arrived maybe 30 - 40 mins late and was a little on the lukewarm side but we placed the trays and the bread in a preheated oven whilst we ate our poppadoms. Problem solved. The food was overall perfectly cooked. The meat tender, the onion bhaji moist and the curry sauce didn't have any oil sitting on top like some places. Other than the staffing issue which is obviously causing delays judging by our experience and reading some of the other reviews, I'd say the food is executed very well. In fact, probably one of the best Indian meals I have had yet. Therefore I will be returning despite the late arrival of the food and would highly recommend. I will hope that next time the food is on time but my daughter and I thought it was well worth the wait....
