Cheeky Monkeys Cakery — Restaurant in Winchester

I have visited Cheeky Monkeys Cakery a few times, since the new owners gave the place a lovely makeover and new menu, for both eat-in and takeouts.

The breakfasts are fab, as are the breakfast sandwiches and baps and the lunch panini I've had was yum.

I have tried many of the cakes and they are always delicious and my kids love the milkshakes and are always pestering to go there for breakfast and milkshakes.

I would definitely recommend this lovely little cafe and cakery. The owners and staff are lovely and friendly and I hope they make a long term success of it, so I can continue...

Cute little local cafe. I have visited a few times now with the kids and they love it! The customer service is outstanding and the activities and toys they offer is a god send to keep littles entertained. The cooked food is lovely, and nothing is too much trouble, however I'm not a fan of the cakes or cookies. 🙈 The kids seem to like them and they are asthetically pleasing, but I find them quite dry and tasteless which is a shame as I love cake! I feel bad writing this as you can tell the owner puts her all into this business, but I really think reviewing the bakes would make a huge...

Was very excited to support a new local business, unfortunately cakes were dry and crumbly no flavour. Messaged owner, no response.

Update! Received a message from owner asking to bring back uneaten cake, of course we had to taste the cake, to find out it was stale. So dumped it in the bin local to where I collected it. I'm not going to drive back, dig contents out of the bin then produce that to the owner. No refund....
