The March Hare Harestock — Restaurant in Winchester

First time there in many years and our time there was outstanding , it was my sons 21st and he wanted to in there for some celebration drink wiv me , the wife and his 20 year old brother , from start to finish we were given A star customer service, our whole experience was great and the staff totally went out of there way to show us a good time and we were treated like royalty , would totally recommend whether ur a local or a visitor to our lovely city , from anything from a quick pint to an amazingly beautiful full meal u will not be disappointed, great pub and perfect staff I cannot praise this establishment enough , definitely worth a visit by anyone , well done to all involved in the running of what I would call a perfect English pub and restaurant I can't find a negative thing to say about winchesters great pub called the "march hare" , thank u for making us feel...

I grew up in Harestock and often went to the March Hare with family to play pool. I was so pleased to discover it still has a pool table which is rare in a pub nowadays. This is by far the best family pub in Winchester. Amazing food...chips and pizzas esp good. Fresh great tasting beer. Plenty for the kids to do also.. a newly refurbished sports bar with the biggest TV I've ever seen, also darts. Noticed loadsa posters advertising family fun days. The atmosphere as great also. Very family oriented with a wide range of ages and customers.

This pub has really had a new lease of life added to it with the new owners and staff. We were welcomed into the new seating area which the decor is modern and vibrant.

The menu was a small fracture of the main menu, which I had the chicken wings for starters and the beyond nature for the main and my family had the fish and chips and the OG burger.

All were cooked to perfection and the flavour was second to none which was good value for money and leaving you full.

I would highly recommend a visit and look forward to...
