We arrived at the restaurant for our friends PHD celebration. After sitting down it was the decided that the friends mum and dad were gonna pay for the food as a thank you, however we would all pay for our own drinks. I then went to the bar and tried to order my drinks for me and my partner and was told that it wasn't possible to do that. I then explained the situation and was still refused, meaning that all of our drinks was gonna be on the same bill, which makes no sense as I was there with my card ready to pay for my drinks no problem. Regardless I go back to my table and order in separate tabs instead assigned number (which is inconvenient but better then having it on one). We ordered a beer and two cocktails, the beer took 5 minutes, the cocktails took 40 MINUTES, to the point where we were hesitant to order them again because they took so long. Food was ordered and everything was going smooth, until mid way through our starters, the waitress brought over our mains. I said there is no room on the table and we were still eating our starters (as normally you are asked when you are finished). The rude as hell waitress then said "There is no room in the kitchen to put them back, and you said you had finished when I asked", I explained that that wasn't true and she none stop argued back. In the end we gave up and then moved the empty plates on the table (which should have been removed anyway) to place the mains). Food was not as described, but was very good, which is a shame because the service is really really bad. At the end we sorted out the tabs and the first thing the rude waitress did was over charge the sad, then argued with me about a drink that was added to our bill that we didn't order. After paying she then told us to wait while she checks that everything has been paid. At the this point I broke mentally and I was like "nah we're good, youve already over charged us, let's get our jackets". Absolutely ridiculous, please do better on the customer service part of your business, as just from this one time, I don't think I will be...
Read moreSo here it went : The staff are amazing. However after being notified of two 15 minutes delays of food, we were asked 4 times if we are ready to eat. Is that some kind of physical and metal preparation or distraction from fact we already were waiting over an hour of having seated there. Anyway, so when we were served the meal, the houmous tasted like as if the kitchen chief was using the houmous container as his Ash tray, but when we asked for another one, we were told to choose somethingelse as that the way they always made it. So going beyond that point, we ordered one meal for one person which has starters and a main meal of chicken that meant to be £17.50. So to clarify the proportion of the ordered meal, we asked the waitress if both plates are for 1 person and she replied "yes that's for one person, shared plates". By the time we eaten and came to paying the bill, we were charged for two x2 the £17.50. Why is that? Well it's for the restaurant to plug it in the receipt after making us wait for an hour and half for a meal that barely lasted 15 to 20 minutes!!!. What's more radiculous is that, the men toilet doesn't even have a lock! Go figure how that would work for customers!!! Thirdly they advertise a variety of drinks that they DO NOT EVEN SERVE. Crossing a drink of their restaurants menu seems a hassle for the restaurant, nevermind charging for food that wasn't even served. KEEP AN EYE ON THE RECEIPT FOLKS! Nevermind the fact that they fill their drinks with almost half ice and other half whatever drink it is to avoid filling the glass properly. Not sure if that's greediness or you get what you pay for? Not sure! Better pay your money worth somewhere else with more accessible facilities...

Edit. On replying to the below, the business ignored that they served dangerous badly reheated food and said I shouldn't of put it in a review. They obviously only care about reputation and not addressing the problem. Now rated 1.
I love trying new places to eat, with the anticipation of finding new dishes or classic well cooked favourites. The best is finding a place I can return to time after time knowing I'll reliably be served great well cooked food by friendly staff
I’d been excited about visiting for a while. It looked fresh, inviting, the menu sounded spot-on. I ordered the lamb.
When it was served it looked good and smelled wonderful. I found myself muttering repeating “Please let it be hot, please let it be hot” In my experience many places sadly fail in serving adequately hot food. Even fewer use preheated plates.
First bite: perfectly warm potatoes and sauce, big happy vibes and a happy heart. Then the lamb — adequately warm at first, but cold at the core after a couple of bites. Not just a let-down, a health risk.
The skill and food handling safety systems clearly are not in place to stop potentially dangerous food being served. That's a hard line for me: I won’t be going back.
The staff were polite, apologised, and re-sent a hotter portion. But lamb shank doesn’t hit your table that fast unless it’s prepped in advance and reheated to serve.
