McDonald's — Restaurant in Wirral

My Wife and I decided to go for a chicken burger and a hot chocolate on Saturday /Sunday morning after wa night out in Liverpool. It's not the first time we have been for a meal there (useally during the day time) but it was a first at that time of night. I have to say that both of us were disappointed, firstly the amount of food and mess on the kitchen floor area where the food was being prepared. (Health and safety would have a field day). There was dirty dish cloths soaking lay out on top of the napkins so they were wet, food on the floor under tables surounding area's and smelly rubblish McDonald's food items left piling up on the tables. There was plenty of Staff on and two Managers on site. Although it's 24 hour /drive through it was not that busy that staff could be cleaning up areas to make it 1:- More welcoming and presentable, 2:- There was a lack of Health and safety issues. As a former McDonald's employee the restaurant which I was working in I was very proud that we always made sure we kept on top of the publice area's and the non public ones you never know who will call in to do a...

I don't have super high expectations when I come to a McDonalds, however does not meet any I have of it.

First off, the place was not tidy, tables were not being cleared and there was sauce on a bench which would have been noticed if they were clearing. The men's toilets are abysmally small. 2 guys in here and you can't move. You can't get to the cubicle if 2 people are at the urinals, the dryer is next to the urinal so it's awkward to go stand next to a guy who's peeing to use the dryer, there isn't paper to dry hands with either, the cubicle was filthy and so was the floor, unsure how often they are cleaned but I'd say not enough, they also need to be loads bigger!

The food, I ordered a standard big Mac, it came floppy, it had onions even though I requested them to be removed, the fries had obviously been sat and I'm unsure if they were even salted because they didn't taste like had been. Just had to leave this review to say a massive thank you to the lovely 'Molly' from the Dining Area who quite literally made our day today by just being her fabulous self, what a real pleasure it was to have her around whilst we were dining in before with the kids! We had two kids with us aged 6yrs & 3yrs old who adored her & loved every second of the attention that she gave them both! She had them eating out of the palm of her hand with the friendliness & kindness she showed them. Our 3 year old fell over & she was right there scooping him up immediately and bringing him straight to us (he was fine) back to running around restaurant 10 seconds later! What an asset she is to macdonald's!!! She had all the time in the world for the kids & us also!
