An absolute delight of quirkiness, a hidden gem and worth travelling to, even if you have no other plans for the day. Situated on the edge of Eastham Country Park with ample paid parking the Mimosa Tea Garden is the perfect place to enjoy some delicious food and drink. Hot and cold drinks, hot food, sandwiches are all available and can be consumed in a number of themed areas that have clearly been built with thought and love by someone who has allowed their inner Hippy to run free and get creative. You will love it, the kids will love it and dogs are welcome too. I am going back, if you have already been there so should you, and if you have not yet tried it ‘you should’.

Lovely little hidden gem, perfect for a post-woods walk tea or coffee. It's quite small and obviously part of it's charm. In the winter and around now it's quite quiet but I can imagine it being a hotbed in the summer. There are a few gazebo's providing cover and have nice decorations around adding to the snug vibe. The cafe is great too, nice coffee and tea with a good selection of cakes and scones. The ice cream is nice too, bit cold when we visited but it's definitely somewhere we'd visit again when it's warmer. Lots of robins at this time of year too!

We visited the Mimosa Tea Garden for the first time on Sunday. It was so good we returned on Tuesday. The tearoom is amazing. Its made up of little huts with differe names all done out with so much character. The mocha coffee here is the best. The cakes are so delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a visit. Its next to the main car park for the country park. We will definitely be going back

Beautiful little tea room, hidden gem in convenient location. Went to upload this photo across my social media channels to say it’s my new favourite coffee shop. Until, however when we noticed the lack of coffee in my friends cup (difficult to tell on photo, but without foam was around half full) after tasting it wasn’t great very strong ‘lattee’ with no syrup as requested. We went back to the side door and spoke with a women with short grey shaved hair, I asked her if she could top the cup up with milk please as it’s half full and too strong. Infront of me the lady said to the women next to her making the coffee (the manager) ‘ the lady doesn’t think the cups filled enough’ I was in total chock, right infront of my face as if I was lying? When really she should have just topped it up and apologised, really unprofessional. Then was nattering away to the manager quietly while I was stood there. Also to mention she abruptly told me twice ‘I’ll bring it over to you, yet it was take away so I’m not going to find a table when it’s busy and I’m waiting to leave! I wish I had said now ‘well is that how you would want your coffee half full when it’s over £3.50 a cup!’ Definitely not.

Would rather spend our money in the coffee shop next door in the tap instead or bring one with us next time from costa. It’s a shame but not being made to feel that uncomfortable for asking for a milk top up in a half empty coffee cup!! - yes raised issue with the manager at the time, half hearted reply was given. Really disappointing as the place is lovely but not for £3.50 for a half filled drink and staff...

It was absolutely perfect and an unexpected find. My partners mum is disabled with mobility issues and severe anxiety both socially and with facilities/ accessibility.

It's rare that we can take her to a new place because of this.

She hasn't gone anywhere to have a coffee or lunch for almost a decade because of her social anxiety.

She seen the tea garden as we went to the car park for the country park. She asked what it was and we went and got a drink and she loved it, we all did.

It was busy (August bank holiday Monday) and it took a while to get the drinks but who cares about that it's just more time to enjoy the surroundings.

The only thing that I could fault (and it's really not much of an issue) is that getting into the... I guess inside courtyard part... There is a small... Not step, I'd say tiny lip to get past... It's a miniscule inconvenience, but enough to stop her exploring more and venturing into the courtyard part... She did prefer the seating area at the front anyway.

Anyway she had a lovely day and is looking forward to coming back, even eyed up the sofa in the covered entrance to the courtyard part "for when the weather isn't good"

Loved our visit and would 100% recommend.

Thank you and...

My Family has been coming here for many years and always had a very nice time, however we came today and told as usual they had stopped serving food which was annoying but usual. We then tried to order an Ice Cream before being told that was not possible as they had “washed all the dishes” I mean it’s one spoon, it’s just lazy. As we went to leave at no later than 4 o’clock we were told the doors were locked, a lady informed my disabled grandmother that she would have to go around another way instead of opening the doors for a disabled person it’s just disrespectful. As my grandmother went the long way around we found out there was a very large not disabled-friendly step which she was unable to climb. The woman’s suggestion of how to overcome this was to point as a single hand rail, as she stood there my mother asked her to open the other door and she agreed, she should have done that in the first place, we should not have even had to have asked it should just...
