NOYA Mediterranean Restaurant — Restaurant in Wirral

Fantastic food but unfortunately our service was very poor this evening (a Thursday evening) . Took my wife here for her birthday and invited close family. I've been here before on a Tues night when it was quieter and had a great time.

Took 2 hours to get our mains which is rediculous. After the 4th time asking when our food was coming (yes really) I had to go up to the bar area to chase it up. The kids where starving. Low and behold the food was with us in 5 mins from this point.

I think what was disappointing was the staff just didn't remember what you asked them. They all seemed very nice and where polite to talk to, but every time we asked for drink or a food update we sat there until the next person passed, then asked them (again with no reply). If there was a long delay on food it would have been nice to know, maybe we could have arranged for the kids food to come out before ours...

Like I started with, the food here is excellent. I really mean that.

It's just a shame tonight the whole thing didn't really click together.

I hope the manager can take the comments on board and make improvements to the...

Absolutely love this place. The staff are amazing. I chatted to a young girl with mousy brown? Hair for ages. And the barman from Bulgaria who knows like 5 languages lol. Absalute delight. And the food was amazing. Fair priced too. And massive. I had the lamb stroganoff with mash and it was huge. I had to actually bring half of it home! Partner got the mixed platter. We got brownies to take home and they gave me two probably cause they couldn't give me ice cream to take home. My partner got baklava and some sort of cheese cake dessert. And I had tha lamb and yoghurt starter and he had the filo pastry starter. And I had a pina something. (Machine was shut down as we were late in so couldn't make me a pina colada but made me something similar and extra delicious) and partner had a beer. It came to £64. Not bad for everything we got. Will deffo be returning. Just not getting so much...

Absolutely beautiful, gorgeous little restaurant intimate and spotlessly clean. Little plate of olives brought to the table were delicious. We had a hummus starter between us, it was absolutely beautiful so smooth and delicious with lovely hot bread, I had the noya house mix which was a chicken kebab, lamb kebab, adana kebab and a lamb chop and it was divine, served with a pitta bread and beautifully flavoured delicate rice... my partner had the chicken mixed platter which consisted of a chicken kebab, a boneless butterflied chicken thigh and 3 chicken wings again served with their gorgeous rice. There was a separate bowl of salad for us to share which again had the most amazing flavour. It really was a beautiful meal. We both really enjoyed it and to be fair we couldn't finish our mains so didn't have a dessert. 100% recommend this little gem...
