A review of 2 halves...
The carrot cake was delicious - the nicest ive ever tried. Light, moist, yummy!
The focacia bread sandwich was tasty but had a twang of burnt onions.
The Arrancini, I so wanted to love, but it was absolutely rank.
Ive spent many years.in Italy and Arrancinis are my favourite. Warm, cheesy, gooey, delicious.
Sadly this was none of those things.
This was a greasy ( you can really taste the old oil) poorly reheated, congealed mess of food poisoning waiting to happen.
The coating was hot, the rice just luke warm and the filling, a cold congealed.mess..Just awful.
In the bin it went before I got food poisoning.
Finally, the price - ÂŁ16!!!!!
Obscene price - considering that proper Arrancinis in Italy are ÂŁ2 at most.

We popped in as we were in the area and each had the breakfast roll. Sausage, bacon and a perfectly fried egg served on a wonderfully soft baguette. The food arrived in only a few minutes and was served by friendly staff with an Italian flourish.

On the day he arrived in good time and set up in our kitchen and produced a wonderful selection of canapés (see photo) and a delicious main course.
