A review of 2 halves...

The carrot cake was delicious - the nicest ive ever tried. Light, moist, yummy!

The focacia bread sandwich was tasty but had a twang of burnt onions.

The Arrancini, I so wanted to love, but it was absolutely rank.

Ive spent many years.in Italy and Arrancinis are my favourite. Warm, cheesy, gooey, delicious.

Sadly this was none of those things.

This was a greasy ( you can really taste the old oil) poorly reheated, congealed mess of food poisoning waiting to happen.

The coating was hot, the rice just luke warm and the filling, a cold congealed.mess..Just awful.

In the bin it went before I got food poisoning.

Finally, the price - £16!!!!!

Obscene price - considering that proper Arrancinis in Italy are £2 at most.

A delightful little Italian cafe/bakery with great coffee, delicious bread, filling breakfasts and flavoursome milkshakes, plus daily specials to boot!

We popped in as we were in the area and each had the breakfast roll. Sausage, bacon and a perfectly fried egg served on a wonderfully soft baguette. The food arrived in only a few minutes and was served by friendly staff with an Italian flourish.

The cafe is clearly popular with the locals and nearby tradesmen alike and from our experience it is a well deserved reputation. I would go out of my way to...

I booked Francesco and his chef, Diego to provide food at our house for a special birthday. He was really good and helpful with menu selections and how it would all work. On the day he arrived in good time and set up in our kitchen and produced a wonderful selection of canapés (see photo) and a delicious main course. All prepared and served so I could enjoy my party without having to worry about the food. You must try...
