Princess — Restaurant in Woking

When first moveing to woking . I thought this great nice little pub just round the corner . My first time in over Christmas was a good .a couple of drinks .lovely staff and locals . Landlord / landlady great . I like this

BUT ... I dont think i will return to what happened out side last night ..Friday As i was planning on haveing a couple of drinks last night...have a relaxing weekend ..make up for my birthday ...i missed On arrival only to witness some bloke shouting at his partner . Out side . .i could not believe what i saw . No woman should be treated so bad no one should

I do hope this woman is ok . As from what i see she hit the floor pretty hard . I wanted to go in a say something but from looking at the bloke i did not want trouble for my self . I see the slim woman get up and go back in to the pub . (This is not good ) It was right put off . As i thought this pub was great family place . I know the trouble was out side but But both of them went in . . And i just thought this is not the place for me .....

Its a shame as i was hoping to meet new people as i dont know many people here .. Wanted to Make new...

I have found the Princess to be particularly welcoming, both the customers and the staff.

The pub is generally clean and tidy.There is an l shaped bar and, a "public bar" area with pool table, juke box and quiz machine. The rest of the bar is furnished with three tvs for sport, some traditional pub tables and chairs and, most importantly in the winter, a roaring log fire.

There is a covered smoking area to the rear, a family/function/darts room a seated patio area and a garden for the kids to escape in.

There are entertainments laid on for all the usual dates: Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Halloween, St Patrick's Day, Bank Holiday etc. Private booked parties: birthdays/christenings/wakes.

Nothing is ever too much for the landlady and her staff. They are very down to earth freindly people who are...

A pain in the * for local residents with no respect for local residents, will host large events and block the road, no care for parking or the rule of law. No care for wheelchair users or mums with prams. Have complained to the pub who say it’s out of their hands, yet they can’t tell their customers to move their cars and park in...
