Excellent service all the way from phone call to door. Very friendly and helpful staff, food was made exactly as ordered and was delivered in good time, was still piping hot when we received it. Great value for money.

Ordered a Family platter and a Burger meal, The chicken was juicy with the perfect amount of seasoning, chips were nicely cooked and still crispy on arrival (a lot of other places seem to think that soggy, greasy potato slithers is an acceptable substitute for fries). Salad fresh, crisp and cold, the gourmet burger was exactly as described, in fact, better than most so called 'gourmet' burgers i've tried and without the pretentious price tag.

Oh, and best of all they understand the importance of keeping the drinks, salad and dips SEPARATE from the food so the drinks are nice and cold but your food is still hot.

A satisfying experience rather than most other local takeaways that make you feel like you just interrupted their Nans funeral by placing your food order, then have you standing there at the door scratching your head trying to figure out, whether the drinks made the food cold or the food made your drinks warm as some slovenly driver barks at you for not answering the door a nano second of them knocking, snatches the money out of your hand then scarpers off with all your change as you look into a bag of unidentifiable mush and pray silently that it won't poison you.

The little note that came with the food said that Rooster Shack take pride in the level of customer service. That's very clear in the quality they provide which shows the amount of care that goes in throughout all the stages. They are obviously focused on building relationships with their customers and have revived a high standard of service that was thought to be long gone at the turn of the century.

Finally, something to be genuinely proud of in this town!

Really disappointed. I don’t normally write reviews but I don’t want anyone to have a similar experience to what I had last night. Shocking service in store, with the staff seemingly not bothered by the fact they had a customer in the store. They messed up my order so I had to ask them to do it again. My mistake, I didn’t check the second time and left the store before making sure they had it right as I thought they wouldn’t get it wrong two times in a row. I realised when I got home they had left a chicken burger and chips out of the order. Called the store and they said they’d have the burger with my in 45 minutes, despite me only living 5 minutes down the road. An hour and a half later the burger still hasn’t turned up despite me making several phone calls to the store in that time. The burger finally turned up almost 2 hours later.
