My first visit, certainly not my last!! Please don't be put off by the front parking spaces, always looks full up but there's overflow parking at the back! The food is soooooo good, I have only ever heard good things about this place and I'm glad I finally got to experience it for myself and able to agree with everyone on that! When I visited, there was a band playing too, the music was fantastic! I would thoroughly recommend this place, make sure you have brought your second stomach though, I am eating for two and can normally eat like a trooper but even I was defeated by the incredible dessert!! Really friendly staff too! In the summer it would be lovely to sit outside and enjoy your food or just a few drinks. There's lots around the back, a good child's play area so the little ones don't get bored either!! Prices are good too, considering your getting such a good amount of food!! Couldn't recommend this place enough!! Can't wait to return! UPDATE; returned tonight, 26/05/2019 and have uploaded pictures of my meals, mains was the chicken and ribs combo 😋😋 dessert was off the vegan menu as dairy allergy, vegan ice cream with pecans and a few raspberries and salted caramel sauce, honestly could do with that dessert again!! Mains was very filling but I hardly left any leftover lol just too good!!

The pub is tucked away behind a private road with ample parking behind and in front of the green, the amenities are clean and comfortable offering diners high chairs and tables as well and the traditional seating and tables. It offers seating outside in the garden area as well as the front of house some with cover, although the front seating can experience gushes of wind as it’s mainly in shade most of day, great place for the family and the Sunday carvery is an absolute gem, the roasties are the best I’ve eaten the selection of vegetables are very good especially the parsnips and roasted veg, the plates are a good size please feel free to pile on what you want even Yorkshire puds. The meat selection looks amazing but tastes rather bland and the only reason why I don’t offer 5 stars is the price and the waiting around, it is best to book ahead for the carvery as it is in high demand, why do the prices keep going up but value and quality remains same?friendly staff and it is an enjoyable experience.

You can come here for a drink as the atmosphere is nice, especially on a sunny day. In regards to food, we are vegan but the food is not very tasty. They did not have the Tempeh katsu curry so we chose the mushrooms Wellington that was tasteless unfortunately. It says fresh tomato sauce, but it comes directly from the can to your plate. The vegetables are boiled and blended. You get a whole mushroom with a bit of pastry on top and this is the dish. The crispy courgette fritters came soaking in oil and tasteless as well. The price of the mushroom Wellington is almost the same price as the salmon, so it is quite overpriced as well. Also, the salad that came as a side dish for my daughters plate was full of vinager and expired. We paid £100 in 3 main courses, 2 starters, 2 glasses of wine and 1 glass of juice. They could definitely make a better effort on the vegan food provided.

Wow, what an amazing pub tucked away in Horsell Common. The pub has a little green outside the front were the children can play. The outside garden is huge, with a children's play area as well, and an outside bar. The food is amazing and presentation is first class. I had a party of 18 and we hired the garden room out, it has its own outside she and the patio area surrounding it is yours as well. My slight concern with this is, they do not rope it off so other people come and sit down and the staff don't move them. When you hire the Garden Room you get a dedicated waitor/waitress who takes your food orders and drink orders for you the whole time you are there. The food was cooked exceptionally well, the tastes were amazing and the deserts were first class.

The venue is awesome. Large, family friendly and plenty of space inside and out. The waitress was soooo nice and even brought olives and tasty bread whilst we were waiting :) We had the Christmas menu... calamari was excellent and i enjoyed my ribs but the ham hock terrine was a bit dry and kinda tasteless. Chocolate pots for dinner were nice but extremely rich, half the size would be more than enough. The Christmas Dinner itself was average with enough boiled veg for the whole table (who were eating the Christmas dinner) We enjoyed the experience though, the ambience was lovely and they had left out activities for our little one, which is always appreciated :)

Lovely sunny day. Lovely large, sunny garden. Wine was very good (I had the Malbec) and my daughter had a 'perfect' Pink Gin and Lemonade. Outside bar and food ordering point is a great feature. My daughter had scampi and chips. Scampi was large and delicious. I had chicken satay skewers and a side of chunky chips. Both fantastic and the satay sauce was used on all of my chips because it was so good. The staff are really friendly, welcoming and helpful. I've lived in Woking for 4 years and this was my first visit to the Cricketers. What a waste of 4 years... But I'm so glad I have discovered this gem of a proper country pub
