Coco's Dessert Factory — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

The place is lovely. But short of staff. I was there lastnight, to my suprise there was only one young lady serving. Whilst taking my order, had calls to answer inbetween. I cant blame the staff as she tried her best. The kitchen was very dirty, part of my order was crepes with banana, i saw the banana being chopped on a very dirty worktop no chopping board. The lady did not wear gloves at all, the gloves were there but it was even confusing as she had numerous calls to answer and the same hand holding the cordless phone was used to prepare my order. I had to tell her that it wasnt hygienic at all. Ice cream scoops were soaked in a dirty water. One of the drivers came and same lady had to handle money as well, how hygienic is this place? It took this poor lady over 40mins to prepare 2 american waffles and 1 crepe. By the time i got home my waffles were cold, cause she prepared them had to put them on one side, while attending to other customers over the phone and the ones inside the shop. It wasn’t a great experience at all. Hygiene is poor, could be improved by having more staff, not safe leaving one person in the shop at that time of the night, money was even laying ontop of the till, what if she gets robbed? AWFUL. Ordered via just eat at 9pm. Order was confirmed and set for a 9.50 delivery. Called at 10.15 to find out where it was. Got told it must have left as it wasn’t on their board. I waited until 10.35 and called again. Call rejected. Then I called again, Call rejected. Called off my wife’s phone and they answered first time. Funny that?!?!

Asked what was happening and just got lied to and told the driver must be lost. I live 5 minutes from the shop 😂😂. Had to call just eat to request a refund and cancellation to then be told it was a 50% fee as the order had already been accepted. Driver eventually turned up at 11pm. 2 hours to make a waffle and cookie dough for which I was charged £18. Have a day off. Never again. If you’re busy or forget an order just have the balls to own up and apologies. People will be much more...
