A popular place for good quality, tasty, well presented food. Ideal if you have gluten-free, vegetarian requirements as very helpful and accommodating. We chose the specials today with a lovely hot chocolate and an English breakfast tea. My gluten-free friend chose the special...'Crushed Minted Pea and Poached Egg on Sourdough Bread. I chose the 'Shakfhouka': spicy tomatoe & peppers with poached egg, served in a bowl with a nan bread. They were both delicious. It was lovely, flavoursome, and a nice change for me to have a vegetarian dish. For dessert, my friend had a slice of the 'Naughty Chocolate Cake (gluten-free)', and l had the 'Lemon & Blueberry Cake'. Whilst the aesthetics are nice and the staff are friendly, unfortunately the food was not that exciting.

I had the eggs royale, there just was not much to it and the muffins were dry, my egg had shells in it and the salmon was also dry and there was very little of it. I asked for my hollandaise sauce separately which was a good idea as it had too much vinegar and would have possibly ruined my food. I had some extra sausages which were pretty standard.

I did however like my caramel frappucino, save for the cream on top which tasted a bit odd. My family had the breakfast, but they were also not very impressed.

There cakes did look very good, but I did not get one on this trip. I think if I was to visit again it would be for a cake...

Blessed to have this on our doorstep here in Wolverhampton 🙏🏻 It is such a friendly, welcoming and cosy eatery. There is a wonderful covered courtyard area out back, that is lovely to sit out in all seasons and a sectioned off seated area at the front which is lovely to make use of during milder weather. The staff are all wonderful, even when you dash in five minutes before the kitchen closes of Christmas Eve desperately wanting/needing your favourite tuna, cheese melt panini 😋🙏🏻 Their cakes are homemade and simply to die for ❣️ Twinkle lights adorn the place and I love the quirky phrases in the form of pictures etc. just a wonderful place to eat with friends or alone and watch the world go...
