Went for lunch last week while on break from work and food took over 40 minutes to come out to table with one meal of the three taking a further 5 minutes. Thought we would try again today as everywhere else was fully booked. We ordered 4 sides at the bar and was told the wait would be around 20 minutes which we were happy to wait. After 20 minutes one of the staff members came over and said 'would you like anything else' when we asked why' they then explained that they were not happy to send the garlic bread out' as we needed to be back at work we asked for a refund of the garlic bread to which the member of staff said that she would bring this money over. Once the other two people on our table had finished eating and the refund had still not been brought over she went to bar and asked to which they said they were cooking a fresh portion which we as a table were not told about, because of this we asked for the refund which we were given. Then the bar staff proceeded to bring out this garlic bread and ate it at the bar while giving our table dirty looks. As we were leaving the pub to return to work we heard members of staff bad mouthing us as customers for mistakes that they had made. Safe to say we will not be...

Read moreLovely pub, AWFUL food. I decided to go with my partner for some food, after three years of avoiding the place after a terrible food experience. I was let down yet again, it was tuesday which is curry night, so I opted for a beef madras. I was presented with lukewarm, flavourless curry, hard, stale, instant pilau rice and a Naan the size of my eyeball. The entire portion size was pathetic and would have been more fitting for a five year old, and the entire meal was BLATANTLY a frozen ready meal, even though the price of £5.99 includes a drink I was still utterly disgusted. Onto my partners meal, he opted for the mixed grill, something which we both usually adore in other sizzling pubs - His two TINY baked potatoes had been so nuked in a microwave that they were inedible, my partner was unable to even pierce them with a fork, his egg was cold and, to me, the sausages looked anemic. I for one will NOT be...
