Hong Kong Delight Chinese take away — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Can I start by saying issuing one star is too much but one star is minimum to be able to leave a review which is something I've never done before but will be doing more often from now on to save others from what I had done to me. I'm new to the Willenhall area and had passed HONG KONG DELIGHT on many occasions but had never ventured in but yesterday evening 28/12/15 I was in the mood for something simple yet spicey so I went in and at the counter was a lady on the phone I think she was taking a telephone order so I waited when she'd finished her conversation I looked at her and she looked at me and said "yes" not good evening how can I help I said "can I have a portion of fries and curry sauce please" she said "£3.40" I gave my money she gave change she went into the back and within a minute she returned with a bag and said "here" then handed it to me not saying anything else like thank you or good bye or anything. When I got home I understand why the service was so fast the fries were oil drenched and reheated the curry sauce was hot but had a thick skin on top which meant also this standing for very long time then reheated too. If this is the service they offer how can they still be running but everybody's standards...

I mean... unless lotus blossom is closed I would really be surprised anyone wants to get their food from here. Lets start of wirh the fact I've ordered large portion of king prawns in chilli sauce, what I got was a medium portion in a large container topped up with oyster sauce with something spicy ( not sure it was chilli either ). Then the next thing is the actual prawns, which were vile. The thing was so chewy and tasteless I didnt bother finishing them off and stuffed myself with the veggies as there was plenty of them ( including a tomato, which I thought was weird for a kinda stir fry veg mix, but hey, I can skip this part. The last part that really out me off and unless im staving I will avoid this place at all cost, was the smell inside the place, some pubs smell better on a saturday evening. End of really re-route and go to Lotus blossom which is much better for the same price. NOT...

Rude and burnt food. Used them a few times and food was ok. Had some chow mien that was burnt and smelt of smoke etc, so we returned, along with some fried rice that we didn’t feel was the right one. They sent the replacement food out and it was wrong again, two servings of chow mein, so we were like ok, just refund us on those items, we had paid and had other food which was fine. They said no refunds till tomorrow, so we were ok with that. Half an hour later this crazy woman rings my mobile screaming down the phone at me that the food wasn’t burnt and the rice is how they do it! I ask her to stop being rude and aggressive, you can imagine the phone call! In the end I told her to forget the refund and get off my phone, which was obviously her aim any way. I will never use again! So, ok when the order is correct, but hide from them if you dare to question them, Mrs crazy will come...
