Great park. 2 free car parks. Play area with wet play. Gym area. 2 football fields. Tennis courts. Basket ball court. Skate park. Bandstand with hosts live music during the summer. Toilets. Plenty of picnic areas. Fishing ponds. A small bar to get snacks... not open v often!! Ice cream van. Just had an upgrade on some areas... lovely new plants and sculptures made out of tree trunks. They also have noticeboard telling u about local events and a centre where kids can go and learn how to plant things or do some arts & crafts etc. They also have public walks every wk for any1 to join in on for free. Both my kids love...

It used to be nicer, but seems to be unloved somewhat these days. The Friends of the park are trying their best, I'm sure, but there is an obvious lack of investment from the council, which is a shame. Paths are becoming rough and muddy and the gardens are no longer planted. However, if you live in the area, it is still a good asset to be able to get out and about, away from the busy roads. Probably less than 1½ miles around the perimeter, but various paths through the middle that help make a bigger walk if you want one. The playground is okay, along with the splash pool (if it ever opens) in the...

An oasis of calm, bird song, nature and art installations. Surrounded by poplar trees and a variety of British species Willenhall Park is a real find. Highly recommended to visit with children , dog walks or just to sit and listen to the songs of nature. There is a wonderful bandstand , a rose walk , toilets. Easy to walk into the town , call in at one if the cafes for a coffee before exploring some of the towns history. One of the friendliest places on the planet , Willenhall has a lot to offer if you care to look. Market days are also...

This is a community treasure and has the green flag award. I visited from outside the area and immediately you can see the memorial to WW1 soldiers - just after the war this was when it was created with contributions from the Willenhall people and the work of returning soldiers. I've not explored the wilder areas but I'm told good long walks can be had. There are facilities that people want for all ages like a band stand, cafe and a lido. The pavillion hosts many community groups. If you're a local or visitor like me, do go.
